NOTHING TO DO WITH STORYLINE

third person

sabrina sighs watching the clock. shawn was supposed to be home two hours ago. he'd gone on tour for five months and promised he be back before christmas. it was almost an hour before christmas day and she was missing her boyfriend.

"i guess i'll go to bed. he can let himself in."

she whispers to herself turning off the living room light. the doorbell rings as she enters the bedroom. sabrina turns around and walks to the door glumly. as she opens the door a bouquet of roses are extended out to her.

"hey baby."

he whispers huskily with a grin on his face. it takes a second for it to register in her mind but when it truly does, she jumps into his embrace pushing the roses out the way.

"i missed you so much."

she whispered as she cried tears of joy.

"i missed you too. i'm so sorry i'm a few hours late. i was trying to get you the best roses i could find and—"

he cuts off when she grabs his face and collides their lips together. and boy had he missed her lips.

"it's okay. you're here now."

she grinned leading him inside the house. he sets his luggage down by the door and picks her up in the biggest hug he could do.

"i don't ever want to be apart again."

he breathes inhaling her sweet honey scent. she giggles quietly releasing from the hug.

"let's watch some movies."

she suggests grabbing his hand and taking towards the couch.

"but i'm tired babe."

he groans as sabrina turns on the tv.

"please? pretty please? we can cuddle and everything."

"fine, only because i missed you."

shawn gives in holding her securely against his body. honestly, he didn't care about the movie. all he wanted to do was hold his beautiful girlfriend in his arms for the end of time.

"baby, babe the movies over."

sabrina whispers nudging his shoulder breaking him out of his loving gaze.

"huh? oh, what did you watch?"

he asks yawning.

"you didn't watch it?"

"nope. i got distracted."

he explains pecking her lips softly.

"but we're supposed to be spending time together."

she pouts as the doorbell rings.

"we will i promise."

shawn walks towards the door and opens it revealing a woman carrying a cage. sabrina comes up behind shawn and wraps her arms around his waist possessively.

"hey thanks for dropping this off."

"no problem."

she responds.

"jesus brina what's up with you?"

shawn asks closing the door holding the cage.

"who was that?"

"a friend."

he says walking towards the kitchen with sabrina hot on his tail.

"a friend?"

"mhm."

shawn places the cage on the counter unlocking it.

"she doesn't look like  a friend who--"

shawn cuts her off by placing a tiny german shepherd in her arms.

"oh my god, he's so cute!"

she giggles dropping her attitude from seconds before.

"merry christmas babe."

shawn grins holding her from behind as the clock struck 12.

"i love you."

"i love you too."

she grins kissing the dog's forehead and shawn's lips.

"i don't know if goodwin will be happy about having a brother."

"he is. he's met him. what are you going to name him?"

"pete. after you."

"cute."

he kisses her cheek as they stare down at the new addition to their family.
