"Are you sure tu ye pehn ra h? " I asked looking at the dupatta in his hand.

"Yeah, Sherwani ke sath match krega, Anisha has picked this up for me. " He told me smiling at the cloth and I sighed before getting up from the couch and heading out of his room.

"Sanyukta. " I heard him yelling my name but responding was not an option. I wanted to be alone for some time after all, Randhir is my first love and I've lost him. Already.

"Sanyukta." I stopped as Raj came in my way, but didn't look at him.

"Are you okay? " He asked and I looked at him with tears in my eyes.

Shaking my head in negative, I sobbed before running away. God! This is painful!

"Sanyukta wait. " I heard him calling behind but I didn't stop. He ran behind me, something Randhir used to do and should have done today as well.

"Sanyukta stop please. " He requested and I came to a halt.

"Sanyukta, it's going to be absolutely fine. " He assured keeping his hand on my shoulder.

"He loves her, immensely. " I told him and he frowned.

"But she doesn't and we both know it. Are you thinking of backing out Sanyukta? Tell me? " He asked and I looked down.

"No way, you can't do this. You know how it'll ruin everything if we back out. You can't do this. " He said and I closed my eyes exhaling deeply.

"I don't know what to do Raj, I know nothing. The love I see in his eyes for her, every time makes me and my determination weaker. " I confessed and heard him sigh.

"Sanyukta we can't give up so easily. We'll save all the three lives, Randhir will get hurt but then he'll be fine. Ye uski life ruin hone se to better h na? " He asked and I sobbed.

"Sanyukta, please. " He pleaded and broke down, hugging him and he hugged me back soothingly.

Closing my eyes, I took deep breaths and he kept on patting my back lightly.

"It's going to be fine. " He whispered causing me to nod.

Slowly opening my eyes, I looked at the other side and my eyes widened finding Randhir standing at some distance from us.

I broke the hug and stood facing Randhir, who began walking towards us.

"Sanyukta ye tu? " He asked looking at me and Raj simultaneously and I wiped my tears.

"Kuch ni vo,  tu paraya ho ra h na, to thodi senti ho gyi thi and since he can relate, toh..." I told him pointing at Raj and explaining the hug.

Randhir gave us a nod before wrapping his hand around my shoulder and taking me with him.

"Dukh baatne ke liye mai hmesha se rha hoon na, aage bhi mai hi rhunga, tujhe kisi aur ke kandhe ki zaroorat ni h. " He whispered as we walked towards his room.

"Ni vo to bas aise hi. " I told him looking down and heard him sigh.

"Aur mai koi paraya ni ho ra hoon." He stated and I gave him a nod.

"Aise kisi ke bhi gale lg gyi? Tu toh janti bhi ni h usko thik se. Anjano se toh baat bhi ni krti aur usko hug kr liya? " Randhir asked as we entered his room and I looked at him.

"I know him well enough. " It was time I began executing our plan. And the unintentional scene that happened just now was helpful.

"How? Maine to kbhi ni dekha tumhe milte. " He said and I shrugged.

"We met once in a cafe aur vacant jagah ni thi to we sat together. Tb se baat hoti h, mtlb achhe se hi. " I lied and he frowned.

"Aur tu ye mujhe kb btane wali thi? " He asked crossing his arms.

"Isme btane jaisa kya h? He's just a friend. " I told him faking a nervous chuckle.

"Tu meri girl friend ke best friend ke sath comfortable ho ri h toh mujhe to pta hona chahiye na. " He said smirking.

"Aise kuch ni h, it's just that he's a nice guy. " The plan is working.

"So you are meeting new people, haan?" He asked raising his eyebrows.

"No yaar, it was just a coincidence. Aur fir mai apne best friend ki girl friend ke best friend ke sath hum aapke hain kaun bhi ni khel skti? " I asked grinning and he narrowed his eyes.

"Wait a minute, to uss din jo tu jldi jldi bhaag ri thi, vo can't wait wala ldka, ye hi tha na? " Randhir yaar tu to bda smart nikla!

"Um, yeah. " I told him faking nervousness.

"Aur tune mujhse jhoot bola. " He accused and I sighed.

"Yaar Randhir mai kya bolti, it was just a casual meeting aur vo can't wait wali baat, vo to hm aise hi flirt krte h mazak mei. " I lied biting my lip and he narrowed his eyes.

"Flirt bhi krte ho! Amazing Sanyukta and you didn't even had the courtesy to tell me. " He said shaking his head.

"Arey yaar mazak mei aise hi bas. " I said and he looked really pissed.

"I know you Sanyukta Agrawal, you don't flirt with just any guy. He must be special. " He said and I shook my head.

"Randhir yaar you are thinking way too much into it. Aisa kuch ni h, we are just friends. Aur tujhe mujhpe bharosa ni h toh Glycerine se pooch le, usko to btaya hota na Raj ne agar kuch hota. " I told him and he exhaled deeply.

"Mujhe hmari baatein kisi aur se confirm krne ki zaroorat ni h. " He said and I looked down.

"Randhir, he's a nice chivalrous guy, he's really good but aisa kuch ni hmare beech aur agar kuch hoga na, toh you'll be the first one to know. " I assured and he gave a nod.

"Promise? " He asked causing me to smile.

"Promise. " I promised and he sighed.

"But you like him, don't you? " He asked and I looked away.

"He's nice, like really nice, pr maine aisa kuch abhi tk socha ni h. " I told him and he narrowed his eyes.

"Abhi tk? Mtlb chances hain? " He asked and I bit my lower lip.

"I don't know. " I said shrugging and he looked at me keenly, as if trying to read my mind. Tumse na ho paega Randhir, ek ldki ka dimag pdhne ki koshish kr rhe ho, bhagwan bhi second time mei sahi hote h, tum to insaan ho.

"Then who knows? Sanyukta dekh, we don't even know him well, jldi mei kuch bhi mt krna. " Look who's talking.

"Yeah right, aur ye mujhe vo insaan bol ra h jo ki sirf chaar mahine date krne ke baad apni girl friend se shadi kr ra h. Kya bola tha tune? Haan, we just get that feeling. To bas, agar vo feeling aayi na, toh mai bhi jldi ya late ni dekhungi. " I teased and he looked at me glaring.

"Tu aisa kuch ni kregi. " He warned causing me to roll my eyes.

"Ja taiyaar ho ja, engagement h teri. " I told him before exiting his room and heading to my own.

Bada aaya gyaan dene wala.
