I put my hand on my head and groaned. At least I fell asleep again. I turned around and looked at my clock.

It's was already 11:26am! I checked my old, battered LG phone.

3 missed calls and 4 text messages. Jeez! I knew the missed calls were from Alec. Right, let's read all of these.

I laughed at Natalie's text. She was SUCH a flirt. Nearly every guy wanted to be with her. What about my love life? I bascially didn't have one. I'd kissed a few guys in truth or dare... But they never meant anything. Everyone wondered if Alec fancied me. I don't have a clue why he would though because of the amount of stuff I put him through. I sighed as I cleared the thoughts and jumped out of bed. I splashed my face with cold water and quickly brushed my teeth. I covered the scars on my messed up wrists with concealer and powder and moved towards my face. I grabbed my eyeliner and carefully put it on before doing my mascara, eye shadow, eyebrows and lips. I posed in the mirror before feeling shit about how bad I looked and glumly walked away. I blasted through the speakers in my room My Chemical Romance songs and singing along. Thank the lord my dad was at work today! I dived in the bottom of my underwear drawer to find my neon pink bikini... Oh god, how long had it been since I worn this?! After just about getting into it I found some denim shorts and my white see-through cropped t-shirt and flip-flops. I grabbed my big sunglasses and my iPod before running to Natalie's to get a ride down to the beach.

The traffic was so bad when we finally got there, everybody was already sun bathing and messing about. I found Alec lazily chilling on a deck chair... With a empty deck chair next to him. I said hello to everyone and slowly walked over to him.

'is this seat free?' I asked him in the most perverted voice I could do.

We both noticed this old guy walking down the beach glaring at us, looking slightly freaked out of the way I said it and me and Alec bursted out laughing.

'yeah, it's free.' he gleamed.

I placed my bag down and quickly took off my shorts and top to reveal my bright pink bikini. For once my stomach actually looked flat. I knew Alec was secretly peering at me. I turned around and caught him looking at me and threw my top at him.

'what are you staring at?!' I laughed. 'i know I'm fat, no need to stare..'

'N-no you're not fat Skype. I ju-just haven't seen you in anything like that. You have an amazing body, you shouldn't be afraid to show it off' he said in surprise.

Nice cover up, I thought, before putting my sunglasses on and closing my eyes. I listened to the children running around and screaming, my friends talking and laughing, and the beautiful sound the sea made...

...suddenly what happened next completely shocked me. A whole bucket of sea water got thrown on me. I gasped and screamed. I opened my eyes.

I saw Alec looking and me smiling.

He was dead.

I got up and took his hand.

'payback time!' I laughed meanly. I dragged him into the sea until we got waist deep in reasonable clear sea water. I scooped up water and poured it into his hair, whilst he tried to block me from it. We were laughing and messing about like 5 year olds until he shouted, 'Stop!'

'what?!' I said worried, whilst trying to unsuccessfully trying to dry my hands.

'I think they're is something in my eye.. Maybe some sand or something. Could you take a look?' he muttered, while uncovering his eye.

'well it doesn't look sore or anything...' I said in confusion, putting my hand on his shoulder to make sure I didn't fall.

Then he really shocked me.

He put his arms around my waist, pulled me closer, leaned in and kissed me.

After a few seconds I pulled away from him.

I looked over where my friends were. Why were they not there?! I looked to the right... They weren't there either. I looked to the left.

Oh god.

They were all there with their phones and cameras. They all saw us. And they have photo proof of it.

I pulled away from Alec's arms and and he looked hurtfully at our friends. I walked away and found Natalie flirting with this guy at least 3 years older than her. I pulled her away.

'I'm sorry. We have to go.' I said sadly.

She turned to me, 'why?!' she looked pissed off.

'you'll see all over on Facebook later...' I muttered bitterly. 'just called your mum please. I'm going to get my things.'

I ran over to the deck chairs and grabbed my bag before hurrying back. I scanned around for Natalie. I found her making out with the guy. Fuck this. I stood around until they finally broke away. The second they did, I dragged her away.

'is your mum here yet?!' I said quickly to her.

She was like she was dreaming. 'uhh... Probably... I-I don't know...'

I sighed. I jumped up on a wall, waiting for her mum. What just happened?! I just kissed my best friend. It wasn't like those kisses in truth or dare which didn't mean anything. This was a proper kiss. But it was something which shouldn't of happened. I would try and forget about it... If everyone hadn't of seen it.

I would NEVER hear the end of this.
