This is just a filter chapter, it's not that exciting. But please please read! And I'm sorry if I won't be able to update so much, school is getting in the way >.< I love you all!]

•Still Skye's POV•

It had been two weeks since Jack had started at our school and all was going well. Me and Alec still stayed with him through the school days and we'd all become pretty close. My dad was at work until 8pm and my mum would be back from her business trip at 1am so I said that Jack could come around.

The last lesson of the day was art, and Jack obviously had Gerard's drawing skills.

We quickly sat down and put our bags under the grubby art table, covered in dried up paints and pencil marks all over. She handed out our books and I looked at Jacks work compared to mine.

He made my work look like crap.

Let's just leave it at that.

I slammed my book closed and faced the Mrs. Lewis, our crazy, creative and awesome art teacher as she was counting down until we had to be silent.

'Right class!!' Mrs. Lewis called. 'Today we will be going in boy-girl partners and drawing what is special to us. You both have to agree on it, so no blood please! You may use whatever sized paper you want and at the end of the lesson you will be showing it to the class. Go wild my little artists!'

And with that we were off.

Me and Jack looked directly at eachother. We both had the same idea.

'You can draw Gee and Frankie, I'll draw Ray and Mikey!' I excitedly said.

'okay! But wait... Don't forget Bob...' Jack said quietly. I forgot that he was still very close with Bob, even if he had left the band.

'Sure, of course I wouldn't forget him!' I said reassuringly. And we quickly started work on drawing our idols... Or in Jacks case, his parents and his parents best friends who he had grown up with.

30 minutes later when time was up, we had just about finished. We stepped back and looked at the master piece.

Even I had to admit, it looked beyond words.

We smiled at eachother in pure delight and high 5'ed eachother. We'd drawn them from the black parade era, because Bob was still there then. We quickly packed away the art equipment and sat down, admiring it even more. Suddenly, Mrs. Lewis was coming closer to our drawing. She stopped next to our table and her eyes looked at our drawing instantly.

'Jack... Skye... Stand up and show the class this amazing piece of drawing. Also explain to us who these people are, and why you picked them.'

Me and jack nervously stood up and held up our drawing for everyone to see.

'so, this is mine and Skye's drawing of a inspirational band called My Chemical Romance.' He said cooly. 'they are inspirational because of what they've gone through as a band, but as individuals too. Gerard, the lead singer, was heavy on drugs and alcohol and is living proof if you fight for what you want, you will succeed one day. This year is his 8th year sober and clean. As a band they also faced many issues. They got called many things like a 'suicide emo cult' and stuff, which is not true. We are no 'suicide cult'. We are a group. We stick by eachother. We'll carry on and we are killjoys for life.'

Everyone started standing up at clapping. We were not expecting this! Once everyone had sat down we smiled at eachother and got ready to leave lesson.

'So the winners today was Jack and Skye!' Mrs. Lewis announced whilst giving us a merit. The bell when and we all said goodbye whilst running out of class! Finally! Me, Jack and Alec all squeezed onto a two seater on the bus. We all sat there raving to My Chemical Romance, not giving a care about what people thought about us.

We said goodbye to Alec and headed to my small little country house. After a few minutes we finally got there. I saw Jacks face, it must of been tiny to the kind of place he lived at.

'So.. Welcome to my house..' I said quietly as I opened the door.

His face was covered in shock.

Was it seriously that small?!

'it's so... Different.' he managed to say. Then he realised my face of 'Yeah yeah... I know it's crap'.

'No! No!' he said quickly. 'Not like that! I mean, it's so different to what I'm used to. It looks all cosy and sweet and all of the houses I've lived in are just big and stylish.' he sighed.

We walked inside and I let him look around whilst I did my homework.

Suddenly he called my name, so I went upstairs to find him.

'Skye, you want to dye your hair?' he said cheekly.

I looked down to see him holding the box with my midnight black hair dye in which I was planning to use a while ago.

'Uhhh... Yeah, sure! But I wanted to cut my hair, I'm bored of it being this boring! I'm ready for a change.' I said. I went into my room and grabbed my razor comb and some scissors.

I slowly started cutting my layers in with the razor comb. Then I thinned out my bottom layer. I looked in the big mirror across the bathroom wall and posed. I was liking my new haircut! Because my tidied up my side fringe a few days ago, I didn't need to do much to it.

'You're beautiful.'

I turned around to see Jack leaning against the doorway, smiling at me.

I completely ignored his comment and started putting the black dye on my hair. He came in and started putting some on his too. I looked at him and he smiled such a devious smile at me. He reminded me too much of Gerard.

When we'd finished putting the dye on our hair, we realised we had to wait twenty minutes so we went downstairs and watched the news and this report came on about this bed and breakfast a old, Christian couple owned and how they were trying to sue this gay couple for sleeping in the same bed, even when they were asked not to*.

'Its sick.' Jack said bitterly. 'How they can they try and sue people for who they love?!'

It was true. Society had turned the world ugly.

'Its a sick world, Jack. As your parents may know.' I said whilst standing up. I looked at my watch to realise we only had five minutes until he had to head home. We quickly washed the black dye off. And wow. It looked amazing.

He looked perfect with his new hair. Wow.

He suddenly hugged me.

'I have to go now. I'll see you on Monday! Bye!' He said whilst running out of the door.

'Goodbye...' I whispered as I slumped back on the sofa.

Gerard Way and Frank Iero's beautiful son was just at my house.

I smiled a true, pure smile. For once in a while, I was truly happy.
