What lies beyond the edge of our universe? -
Those that seek the truth, Philosophers and scientists are always on the hunt for more theories and more answers to what causes this universe to progress and expand.

Perhaps, we dream of discovering, as the human mind is always drawn towards the unknown.

The universe as well as the fabric of space itself is constantly... expanding. Our knowledge is only limited by possible theories and what we are exposed to. So will there ever be anything out there that can give us an understanding of what lies out there.

-

The bus hissed as it pulled to a stop, the breaks whined and it lowered itself, the passengers stepped onto the platform making their way to the back of the vehicle.

Ava ambled on, handing her ticket nonchalantly to the bus driver, before approaching the nearest double seater.

Carelessly, she plopped down beside a girl, her thoughts felt remote, an uncanny feeling washed over.

"Looks like they already got to you."

Her attention snapped towards the girl that sat next to her, as she recognised the bitter voice.

"P-Pandora?"

"Yes?" She peeled her eyes off the window, and set them on Ava, her eyes resembled that of a dead fish, making Ava unsettled.

The girl was dressed in the same ancient garment. Confused, Ava's attention flickered as she scanned the bus cautiously, no one seemed to be paying attention. Was it true that only she could see Pandora?

"Why are you here?" She hissed through her teeth, her eyes darting round, to avoid the event of looking absolutely insane, talking to a fragment of her own mind.

"I wish I could answer that for you, but something doesn't feel right," She replied in a stern alert tone, as she grabbed the bus rail.

The breaks screamed and the bus came to a sudden stop, the thrust from the impact hurling Ava forward, sending her flying over the chairs till her back collided with the floor of the bus.

A groan escaped her lips at the dull pain that shot threw her back. Screams erupted amongst the civilians as the bus doors flung open, a hoard of people storming out like a stampede of gazelles.

A deafening screech cracked through the air, the piercing scream resulted in silence falling upon the crowds along with a loud thud.

Ava grasped her shirt where her heart was, a strange feeling resonated from within, fear, and curiosity was all she had in mind.

But it was as if the air had changed, heavy, she could feel herself almost suffocating.

"Get up."

She glanced up, as pandora lowered herself to her knees and gently placed her hand on Ava's shoulder, and with that small touch, Ava's chest heaved as she inhaled air that gushed to her respiratory organs.

As if the weight and suffocation had been lifted off of her.

"I lent you some of my strength, as without me you're merely human. This air, can be fatal to humans not immune to it."
