Bella
Clockwork just came back with the most sympathetic face I have ever seen.
"Your majesties, I couldn't change their verdict. You have 1 month to be married, and that means you'll be having a Christmas wedding. Though I might be able to push it back until New Years day... if that would be helpful...?" Clockwork assumed as Danny and I stared at each other. We slowly nodded as Clockwork left.
"I... I'm so sorry Bella, I didn't think this would happen. It's ok if you want to leave, I mean I-" Danny started before I had cut him off with a sweet kiss to his lips.
"We are going to get through this together, ok?" I soothed as he gave me a side hug sitting next to me on the king sized bed.***
"Danny? Bella honey, time for your last day of school before Christmas break!" Maddie called as I rubbed my eyes looking at my strange pillow.
"Morning princess, sleep well?" Danny asked grinning down at me. Well I found out what my pillow was... hehe. I shot him an icy glare as I rolled off his chest. I ran into the bathroom to get dressed, then walked downstairs to eat breakfast.(Black knee high boots, not the heels)
"Bella honey, you look beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen you in anything but jeans and a shirt!" Maddie exclaimed as I let out a soft giggle.
"I have a quick question, why does the school let out for Christmas break the last week in November?" I wondered.
"That's because most kids leave for vacation all of December. It's a shame really..." Jazz replied as she tugged a brush through her long, ginger hair. I let out a shocked gasp as Danny kissed my cheek. He placed his hands on my shoulders and his sharp chin on the top of my head as I rolled my eyes at his actions.
"You two are just so cute!" Maddie squealed as Danny wrapped his arms around my upper torso.
"Oh! Before I forget," she started as she searched throughout the mail. "Vlad has invited us to his Christmas party. Here are the invitations, and you can bring one person each. Though he didn't have an invite for you Bella, I don't think he knows you're apart of this family yet." She finished as Danny gave me his extra invitation.
"Bella? Would you do me the extraordinary honor in being my date to the Christmas party?" Danny asked as he offered me his hand.
"I'd be delighted to accompany you in this extraordinary offer." I shot him a playful glare as I gave my best British accent.
"You sure know how to deflate a guy's ego." Danny pouted as I laughed.
"Mk love birds, would you like me to drive you to school?" Jazz asked as we nodded.
"Oh honey, you can give these to your friends, we don't need them." Maddie said as Jack tinkered on a new ghost detector. I thanked her and took the invitations.***
"Merry Christmas everyone!" I cheered as the last bell of the day rang. I smiled as large snowflakes fell from the sky.
"What's with you and Christmas?" Danny asked laughing at my childish antics.
"It was the only day my family wouldn't fight... and honestly, it's Christmas! I've always loved Christmas." I giggled as I tugged on his hand.
"Home?" He asked as I nodded and pulled on his arm.
"Clockwork said he has news for us, so we got to hurry." I stopped pulling and just walked with my arm looped around his.***
"So Clockwork, what's the news?" Danny asked as we floated into the castle.
"I was able to persuade the observents to push the time of the wedding to new years day, but we have to start now with all the preparations. Also I've gotten you a new seamstress, and here she is." Clockwork informed as a young ghost girl came through the door with pins in her mouth.
"Your Highnesses, I am Rachel, your loyal seamstress." The girl said with a low curtsy after she took the pins out of her mouth. "Now your Highness, if you would come with me to your room, we shall see the dress selections and pick the right one." She said as she dragged me out of the room.***
Danny's POV
"Clockwork, I need to at least purpose to her first, also we'll be gone throughout the whole month of December, my mother is making us go to a Christmas party." I told Clockwork as I fidgeted with my gloves. He placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder and told me he was planning on stopping time in the mortal world so we could do everything sooner so we wouldn't have to worry about that. I sighed in relief as I slouched in my throne.
"We should check on your bride to be, to make sure she's doing alright." Clockwork somehow knew that after an hour of being away from her I'd like to see her. For some reason I liked knowing some people thought of her as my bride. As we reached her door Clockwork had walked away. I had a smirk plastered on my face as I leaned against the door watching her focus on the dresses with a smile on her face, every so often she'd point to a picture.
"You do realize that it's bad luck to see the bride picking out her dress?" Bella teased as her seamstress gave her a confused glace then looked up to see me leaning on the door frame. She jumped in her seat then let out a small laugh.
"I didn't even see him there, so how did you?" Rachel asked dumbfounded as Bella let a small grin escape her soft lips.
"To be honest I could smell his spearmint Axe." Bella confessed blushing. Rachel stepped out of the room. Bella put a marker in the bridal book, closed it, then walked up to me.
"Hi, Bella." I grinned as I caught a whiff of her intoxicating vanilla perfume.
"Hi Danny, what do you need?" She whispered as she moved closer to my body.
"I- uh, I missed you..." I stuttered as she stood on her tip toes to meet my eyes. Her bright turquoise blue eyes bore into my ocean blue ones as her nose grazed mine. I placed my hands on her waist, no longer being able to keep myself from touching her skin. She grabbed the collar of my jumpsuit and pulled me down to meet her lips. I walked into our room just to shut and lock the door. We needed some alone time sometimes, and this is probably the last for the rest of the month. My tongue swiped across her lips as I tried to deepen the kiss. She opened her mouth enough so my tongue could explore her mouth. I guided us over to our bed and lightly dropped her on the the covers. She pushed me back lightly as she ran into the bathroom. I checked my watch to see it was already 10 PM. I took off my clothes, leaving me in my boxers, and snuggled under the blankets as Bella came out of the bathroom in a fluffy crop top and short shorts. She jumped onto the bed and snuggled into my body while murmuring something.
"Yeah?" I asked not hearing her.
"Your warm..." she yawned as she wrapped her long legs around mine. She snaked her tan arms around my neck playing with my hair as I wrapped my arms around her tiny waist pulling her closer into my body. I kissed her temple as her eyes fluttered close. My eyes as well grew too heavy to keep open.
"I love you Bella." I whispered to the love of my life as my eyes closed for the night.
