The flight to Amity Park was horrid... although it would have been worse to drive. A 15 hour drive with one 10 year old and one 5 year old? Yeah no.
"Get over here and pay for this!" My fugly stepfather hollered across the car lot as I pulled the girls with me. Once I got over there I pulled out my wallet to pay the greedy son of a- sorry...
"You're going to fix this when we get home." Fuggs demanded as I nodded.

"Sometimes I wish I could just run away, get away... well yeah Pearl, I'd obviously take you and the girls with me... sometimes it's hard living in this family, you know?" I asked my dog as I pulled myself out from under the car. I stare at the clock as my eyes adjust to the darkness. Midnight. I fixed the engine so she purrs instead of roars, but I still have to fix the muffler, the tire rotation, give her a new paint job. I run my non greasy hand over her fur and get back to work.

I finally finished around 5 AM and walked upstairs to take a shower and sleep for maybe 15 minutes before I have to get up dressed and ready to leave before I have to wake the girls, make breakfast, wake him up, get the girls dressed, and get out the door for school. I hopped into the shower and burned my skin as I washed my hair and body. I turned it off, grabbed a clean towel, dried off, and applied my favorite minty vanilla lotion to my skin.
I scouted through my closet for some clothes as I brushed my teeth. I picked out a grey tank top, black jeans, maroon converse, a belt, my gray beanie, and my favorite denim over shirt. I quickly grabbed my favorite mint green hoodie and ran downstairs to start on breakfast. I made bacon and eggs for the girls and fuggs, snuck a piece to Pearl, and ran back upstairs to get the girls ready for school.
"Rise and shine my darlings! It's time for school!" I said as I opened the curtains. I picked out their clothes and lied them on the little love seat in their room as I shook them awake.
"Morning Bella..." Mina yawned sleepily  as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.
"Good morning Mina. Emiline honey, it's time to wake up... Emmie?" I spoke softly as I tried to tame her wild locks. Her icy blue eyes fluttered open as she smiled up at me and pulled my hand to help her get dressed in the bathroom. I picked out a little pink and black dress with black tights and her sparkly black flats. We came out of the bathroom to see Mina having a hard time with her shirt. I laughed a little as I pulled it down over her head. She gave me a small smile before putting on her shoes and walking downstairs to eat breakfast. I woke up Fuggs and they ate breakfast as I put together lunch, and the girls backpacks. I handed the lunches and backpacks as I grabbed mine, an apple from the table for breakfast and we left the house to walk to school.
