Christmas Party (Part Three)

Bella

"Bella? Are you ready?" Danny asked as I walked out.
"Yeah, I'm ready." I blushed as his jaw dropped. I had my dinner dress on with light sparkly eyeshadow dusted across my eyelids, sparkly nude lip gloss on my lips, my hair was pinned up in a sophisticated bun with two pieces of my hair left out and curled to frame my face, sapphire studs in my ears, and nude heels adorning my feet. I did a little spin to show off my dress but tripped on my heels, just for Danny to catch me.
"Not used to heels Bella?" He asked grinning.
"No, how do people walk in these!?" I sighed as I took his arm and we walked to the dinning room for dinner.

After dinner was through Vlad welcomed us into his gigantic ball room.
"Miss Snow, you are looking quite lovely this evening." Vlad commented as a blush set on my cheeks.
"Thank you Mr. Masters..." I replied as he shook his head.
"Please my dear, call me Vlad. Oh, have you meet my dear friend's sons? Kyle Kolby, come here please?" Vlad called as Danny came up from behind and wrapped his arms around me I smiled as I leaned back into his chest, relaxing in his warmth.
"I love you Bella." Danny smiled as I turned to face him.
"I love you too Danny." I replied sweetly as I kissed his cheek.
"I thought you were single?" Vlad asked flabbergasted.
"No, Danny's my boyfriend." I smiled lightly as Danny entwined his hand in mine.

Danny's POV

*just before Bella talks to Vlad*

"Mom, dad, Jazz, Cole, Sam, Tucker?" I asked softly as I watched Bella chat with Harriet Chin.
"What's up little brother?" Jazz asked as the group gathered around me. I pulled out a little blue velvet box out of my back pocket.
"Ok, but you-" Jazz started as my mom squealed. I hushed her quickly as I showed them the ring.
"Danny, it's beautiful! She's going to love it." My mom whispered as she wiped her eyes.
"I hope so. I was going to ask last night but I figured she'd want her family around her when I did, so keep it quiet for now. Don't worry Jazz, we won't get married until we're out of high school... ok? I want to give her the ring so all the other guys pinning after her would back off." I explained as I looked at my sister. She nodded after a while of thinking about it. I smiled brightly as my family agreed to meet later at our room to be with us when I popped the question.
I soon noticed that Bella looked really uncomfortable talking to Vlad, so I came up behind her and wrapped my arms protectively around her shoulders. She leaned back into my chest and relaxed.
"I love you Bella." I smiled as she turned in my arms to face me.
"I love you too Danny." She replied sweetly as she kissed my cheek.
"I thought you were single?" Vlad asked flabbergasted.
"No, Danny's my boyfriend." I smiled lightly as I entwined my hand in hers.
