Once Genji got Kai out of there, Kai could barely stand, much less walk. As chances may have it, it didn't take long for the dragon to quickly notice the two targets on the ground. Genji quickly puts Kai's arm around his neck and starts running for cover behind some of the other boulders near the border of the ring. All I could do was stare as I watched the scene unfold in front of me.
'They're not gonna make it, they're not gonna make it...' I watched as the dragons cheek puffs up as it was about to release another storm of fire, the same fire that I watched my friends burn in at the other side of this gate. The very same gate that I flew through to help protect the last remaining of my friends. 'Gah! I can't take this any longer!' I quickly fly head first to danger, I zip past Rai and Genji while making eye contact with them, I had the most determined look on my face.
'I have no clue what I'm going to do.'
I could see the fire licking the edge of the dragons lips, gulp. I found myself adjusting my dress from being so close to this intense heat. He was about to blow about any second now. 'Now that I think about it, he looks like he is going to puke... Wait a minute...' That's when one of my, not first, nor last, brilliant ideas struck me. 'All I need to do is make it sneeze, before it burns me into pixie dust'
I managed to fly up close to one of the nostrils, it wasn't that hard since the dragon was prepping for it's final blow. I started forming a nice big ice crystal to shove up it's nose. As I was doing this, the dragon let's out a big puff of black soot from it's nose. I did my best to keep up my concentration and cover up my coughs, it was hard considering I was now covered in basically what I would consider, dragon snot. 'Ewwwww, dragon soot and dragon breath. How bad can this day get?'
I finally finish making the shard big enough to fit my 'revenge', I mean my 'satisfaction levels', while adding a snowflake on top as a nice sprinkle on top. In that time, the guys have gotten pretty close to cover. 'Maybe I didn't have to get myself dragon covered after all -.-' Of course, ironically, the dragon opens it's mouth at that time to send a course of violet fire straight toward them. Though, right before he could breath it all out, I shove the ice shard up his nose. It causes the dragon to stumble back a bit as the flames breathe up into his nostrils. Hence causing the flames to be sent straight towards me. "Frick."
I quickly managed to fly up and out of harms way, but I almost got jump-scared half to death immediately after. 'Seriously, I'm not that old, but I can still get a heart attack.'
There I was yet again, eye to eye with the dragon. Except this time, the dragon had tears forming in it's eyes. All I could think was 'Aww, poor soul', as I inherently stick out my hand and freeze the water that was still forming in the dragons eye.
The dragon quickly became enraged, 'as if it wasn't enraged before', and it was clearly enraged because the next thing I knew. I was flying backwards with a burning wound on my shoulder.
I couldn't see what happened clearly, but I am pretty sure that the dragon just stumbled back and hit me hard with it's claws.
For the love of the multiverse, I am just lucky I only got a scratch, burning like hell or not, at the end of the day it's just a scratch. I turn around and start flying towards the cover of the boulders that surrounded the arena.
A fireball soared right above me, 'Oh boyo, that was quick recovery on the dragons part.' I dodged the incoming fireballs, but this dragon was more intelligent than it looked. It started to make it's way towards me. Magically, somehow not losing sight of a tiny stick zooming across a giant arena. Might I mention, when I mean 'making it's way towards me', I meant it ran. 'For it's size, geez it can run fast.' I thought frantically while looking back.
Surprisingly, when I was a few feet away from the dragon, I felt little to no fear. Now that I am flying at full speed from a running, fire breathing, killer dragon...I can finally feel the fear sink in once again. I feel a sudden boost of energy as adrenaline courses through my blood. I just managed to make it behind a rock as a fireball soars right past and hits the gates, finally drawing the attention of the group that was trapped on the other side back to the battle field. I eyed them one by one, 'How could they have not have done anything all this time?'. My thoughts of anguish quickly fades away as I hear the sound of crumbling rocks and stomping feet grow louder and louder.
My heart races to the point where it feels like it actually might explode out of my chest. Despite the heat being overwhelmingly hot, I feel cold with fear all the way to my finger tips. My hands and legs were quivering, as they were shaking with fear. The dragon sticks it's head through the crevices of the boulder, breathing smoke into the small area. I couldn't help myself, but to cough, I bite my hand in fear that it heard me. Suddenly, just as the dragon reaches its claws out in my direction, a paper airplane quickly flies past me and the dragon. Catching the dragon and myself off-guard, the dragon, probably assuming it was me, quickly went off after the airplane. Mercilessly shredding and burning it into pieces. I look to see where the airplane came from, Aura was waving to me from the other side of the gate. I quickly fly up to her, while carefully making sure not to touch the Flames.
"Oh, thank you thank you thank you, you saved my life." I was literally on the verge of tears and from breaking down with all the panic. Aura looks at me with a smile, "I'm your sister, of course I would save you." Which in turn made me wonder, 'If I wasn't her sister, would she not have saved me...?' I internally gulped and was just glad that I was her sister. Aura suddenly frowns, and in the midst of my thoughts, it sends a shiver down my spine. "Yes, sis?" I said timidly while trying to smile.
She points to my shoulder, "You're hurt, are you okay?". "I...I...ummm, yeah I'm fine" I said while looking at my shoulder. The wound somehow seemed to heal, leaving the soot in a weird star shape. "It's just a bit of soot.." I said while trying to brush it off, but yet it refused to be taken off. Aura gives it one last look before saying, "Anyways, we have to figure out how to put this monstrosity to bed.".
"Literally or figuratively?". Aura, squints her eyes and gives me a look that she always gives me whenever she is like 'Shard, you know exactly what I mean....'. "Okay, so you meant literally, I mean figuratively, I mean...". Aura just sighs. "What's up with everyone sighing with me today?!"
Aura completely ignores my comment, "I have a plan, I just need you to distract the dragon for a little longer. I just need the correct powders to paralyze and put to the sleep a creature of this size."
I take another look at this dragon, 'Well I managed this long, I can manage a bit longer.' "Okay sis, just make sure to hurry back." She give a quick nod and before she leaves, she says "Stay safe, I can't help you like I did this time." Then she quickly runs off past the crowd of onlookers. I cross my arms in slight annoyance, 'Hmp, not like I needed your help anyways.'
'Well, I can't stay here forever.' I turned to face my worst enemy for the last time.
Soon faint yelling, slowly begins to fill the room, becoming louder and louder with every second passing by.
Just as I manage to locate the noise, everything suddenly fades to white...

Acción"What were we even thinking?" My tiny heart beats quickly as I hide behind the seething coals, I could feel my face heating up as I try not to flinch from the fire burning overhead. It was way too hot here, and impossible as it is to take on a drag...
