Alexa's pov

"Alex,sweetie,Ethan's at the door for you" my mom says shaking me. I groan and turn around in my bed "i don't want to talk to him right now"i say as I get comfortable "why honey?is everything okay?" she asks "yeah mom, everything's fine. Just tell him I don't want to talk to him right now. He'll understand" I say "look I know everything is not fine,i'll tell him to leave right now but me and you are gonna have a little talk later" she says "mhmmm"i just hum and try to go back to sleep again.

An hour later...

I open my eyes to be instantly met by the sun light, I face the other side, and debate if I should wake up. I decide that I should probably wake up so I do and head straight to the bathroom, after washing my face and all, I head downstairs and immediately both of my parents look at me. today's Monday and Christmas Eve so my school gave the day off which I'm not complaining about. My dad looks up from his paper and my mom looks up from pouring my dad coffee, "good morning" I say "good morning sweetie" my mom says "sleep tight bud?" my dad asks "yeah,i was just tired that's all" I smile, I take a seat at the bar as my mom puts a plate of pancakes in front me, I smile "thank you,mom"i say, she smiles "no problem kiddo" she says kissing my forehead. I finish eating and head upstairs to brush my teeth and do some homework.

3 hours later....

I open my eyes and realize I fell asleep while doing homework, I rub my head as i sense a headache coming and decide to give myself a little break. I go downstairs and grab a glass of water and then again I continue to do my homework.

A few more hours later....(sorry for all the time skips :/)

i've been doing homework for hours but now i'm finally done, I go on my phone to see a lot of missed calls and messages from Ethan about how sorry he was and that I should let him explain. I roll my eyes and put it down. The bell rings and I freeze at the though of it being Ethan. I open the door and am half relived to see Chamberlain but also half nervous cause I know why she's here "We need to talk, Cooper" wow, she really went for the last name,didn't she? "hello to you too" I say "cut it Alex, we really need to talk" she says pushing past me and entering my house "Hi Mrs and Mr Cooper" she greets them with a hug "hi Chamberlain, what brings you here?" my mom asks her "oh, I'm having trouble with my Chemistry home work so I need Alexa's help" she says and runs upstairs "you know where to find me" I say and run upstairs as well. I close my door and lock it, then sit down on my bed beside her. "long story short, Emily kissed Ethan last night or maybe Ethan kissed her, I don't know but they did" I say "did you hear Ethan out?" Chamberlain asks me "no" I shake my head "well I did" I face her quickly as she says that "you did?" I ask her, she nods "and I think you should too" she says putting her hand on my shoulder with a small smile on my face, I look down,unsure of what to do. "trust me, you'll be glad to hear it" she smiles and stands up "well, I'll be going now, give him a chance." she smiles "i know, I will" I smile and stand up too. My mom stops her and asks her if she wants to eat dinner with us and my mom being her does'nt take a no for an answer so Chamberlain ate dinner with us,she kept laughing the whole time as my dad told dad jokes. I chuckled at some pints too. After we were done she said goodbyes to mom and dad then I bid her good bye and watch her drive off. I say goodnight to mom and dad then head upstairs and after doing my night routine, I lay in bed letting sleep take over.
