Chapter 8: Moonlight Ball (Part 1)

Serena had gotten back to the Pokémon center late at night but still in time for dinner, "Yikes girl you were out for a bit!" Shauna said putting a plate of food in front of Serena before digging into hers. "Hehe...Sorry! But I met some new people!" Serena said taking a bite out of her food, "Who?" Shauna asked taking a slip out of her peach drink, "I'll tell you later." Serena said as Trevor looked like he wanted to say something, "Trevie whats on you mind?" Shauna asked looking across the table at her male companion, "Umm, So the Aether Foundation invited us to go to the moonlight ball." Trevor said staring at his food, "REALLY! That sounds soooooo romantic!" Shauna said as love heart entered her emerald green eyes, "Sounds fun." Serena said wiping off some food from her mouth with a handkerchief, "Well I guess we can go... I mean you two are famous Pokémon performers and I competed in the kalos League so we might have some unwanted attention, but that's fine!" Trevor said as his leafeon jumped into his lap and grabbed some bread from Trevor's plate he jumped down and handed it to Shauna's espeon.

"Oh fare maiden will you go to the moonlight ball with me?"
Leafeon asked putting out his paw.

"Oh—*Nom* sweet prince *Nom* I'd love too!"

Espeon said eating as she talked, after espeon finished her bread she grabbed leafeons paw and used her psychic to lift them up in the air and start to dance.

The Trainers laughed at the two Pokémon dancing in the air as Trevor left the room and came back with a black rose, "I um....Madam Shauna! May I accompany you to the moonlight ball?" Trevor said shocking Shauna, "Yes, Trevor it would be a my pleasure!" Shauna said taking the rose and putting it in front of one of her pigtails. "So Rena Who are you going with?" Shauna asked, "Do we need a date?" Serena asked Trevor, "No but if you want to walk down a pretty staircase then yeah." Trevor replied calmly, "Sere! You can get a date there! How a bout we sleep on it and then get some clothes for the ball?" Shauna said returning all her Pokémon besides her espeon, Serena and Trevor did the same only leaving their sylveon and leafeon out. The trainers went into their room for the night.

"Night Sylvie"

"Good night leafeon"

"Nighty night espeon!"

Serena and Shauna had woken up and 6.30 to the smell of tea,eggs,and toast. Shauna got dressed into a pink top that said, 'Flawless' on it with some blue shorts not really caring about how she looked since she was gonna change in a bit. Serena got dressed in a long light yellow dress the reached her ankles with sleeves that covered her hands a bit, Serena walked out of her room in a new outfit. Trevor wore a gray collar shirt with some gray pants to match, "Morning!" Serena said as her friends replied, "good Morning!" Serena had grabbed a fried egg,and some toast (with avocado spread) along with some green tea, "Ready to go shopping?" Shauna asked biting into some eggs, "Yup!" Serena said as she started to eat her toast. Serena and Shauna ran into their rooms and grabbed some new clothes, Serena picked out a long pink dress with long sleeves again while Shauna put on her outfit that she picked out in kalos.

After breakfast Serena,Shauna,and Trevor dashed out of the Pokémon center. Serena had shown her friends her new vulpix who got along well with Trevor but not with Shauna. "Look! That store!!!!" Shauna said running in a dress store that had a lot of pretty dresses in it, "That one is perfect for you Rena!" Shauna said pointing at a blue dress with stars on the skirt like part while the top part was sleeveless and was very ruffled along with a blue ribbon on the collar part. The dress came with a long of star accessories and a yellow ribbon that went around the waist, "I love it!" Serena said grabbing the dress along with some high heels, Serena went into the dressing room and came put looking like a queen.

"Wow!"

"EKKKK YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!"
