Chapter 4 ~ You Will Never

Natsu then left the room, I sort of felt worried for some reason but then ignored the feeling when the giant dragon snorted, sending a scared chill down my spine. Oh Natsu, please returning quickly from whatever you're doing...

I felt mad, jealous and blood thirsty just thinking what it'll be like if they did take Lucy from me. Truth be told we had only known each other for a short time, but I have started to get a type of addiction to her that doesn't stop unless I hold her. For once I was grateful my father gave me a small group of men to take battle.

As we all gathered, the giant portal began to open signalling that it was are time to go to 'Earth' to get rid of theses sisters.

When we arrived on Earth, all the animals ran away and when I first stepped onto the ground. The lush green grass shrivelled up and died right before me, as my Devil powers were overwhelming. Lucy's the only true beauty that I can touch and she won't die.

We continued through the forest, with every step of mine killing the nature around it. Eventually, we bumped into the 3 sisters, and from what i recall from Lucy saying, the red-haired one was called Erza and the short blue headed one is Levy, so that must make the other Blue one Juvia.

"Im guessing you ladies are the sister of my Lucy?" I asked polity with a smirk, as I hanged my sword on my shoulder. The girls looked like they had anger building in them as they saw me standing there, rather cockily if I say.

"Give back our sister you sick jerk!" The red head, Erza yelled or more like commanded.
"Ah how about no? She's mine." I then raised my right hand and signalled the soldiers to move forward, to attack, but Erza's eyes never left mine as she glared at me, that I admit sent a small shake down my spine.

Erza was the first to attack, jumping forward with her hand positioned on her side to her sword. I smiled as I always loved a good fight and Erza seemed like a great opponent.
We seemed to keep clashing swords, neither of us giving up.

"Why won't you return our sister?!" She breathed as she was running out of strength. She was very powerful with the sword, and if she was a Devils she would've been a great soldier. After some great force of strength between us be both jumped back a couple metres.

"Because out of everything in this cruel world, she's the only thing that truly makes me smile and the only thing that won't die from my touch!" I replied as we once again clashed.

We clashed once more which resulted in her cutting my cheek as I tried to dodge her, a small significant smile glanced her face as she thought she was getting somewhere, but I guess the pain didn't reach her until she finally looked down at the warm red liquid from her stomach.

That was when she realised that I had indeed landed the final.

I removed the blade from her, resulting in her falling backwards, her hands clutching her stomach as she coughed blood.
"Y-You are truly evil...b-but please, j-just look after her." She had a somewhat of a begging face on her, as of wanting me to be true to her words.

"Will do" I smiled softly, remembering that my Lucy was at home waiting me. Erza's eyes than began to close as of blood loss, but she faded with a hopeful look still etched on her face.

I then walked away and signalled to everyone that we won, they cheered but then information of the two other sisters escaping came to me. Great two more pests to deal with... I thought about it, and it came to me that the real reason of the hopeful face on Erza was due to the fact that she knew her sister escaped successfully.
