ONE WEEK LATER
you are at the airport with your teachers and classmates. you have three heavy bags with you and even after that your mom thought that you have under packed. your mom and dad were really protective of you so they had never allowed you to go alone anywhere. they even walked with you and jimin to school sometimes which is quiet embarrassing and sweet of them at the same time. Today while you were leaving your house your mom had tears in her eyes and your dad wanted to drop you till the airport even when a private cab had been arranged by the school for all students.And Jimin was really happy because he will be able to hijack the television for the next fifteen days.
"hope your height will magically grow when I see you next time." you say to him mockingly.
"Y/N" said your mom in a stern tone. Your mom was the only one who could make you feel sad, guilty and apologetic at the same time.
"sorry I guess old habits never go."
jimin gave you a look.
"listen Y/N, stick with lisa at all costs and text me when you have reached okay?"
"yeah" lisa has been your best friend since 1st grade and your mom loves her like her own daughter and sometimes people also confused your names.

your plane finally landed at seoul."The land of magnificent crops" as your dad says.you had 3 bags to carry but thankfully lisa had only one bag and she helped you carry your luggage.it was already evening by the time you reached school.everyone was running here and there meeting their partners and taking pictures.Even Lisa had left with her partner to their home. But IU was nowhere to be found. worried, you approached your class teacher.
"ma'am I can't find IU"
"oh Y/N! there you are! I was looking for you. I have a little news for you."
before you could ask weather the news was good or bad she continued.
"your partner backed out last minute due to a family problem."
what am i supposed to do now?go back home and tell your mom that when she finally trusted her to go alone this happened,you thought.
your teacher interrupted you thoughts and continued "but don't worry we have a substitute the only problem is that...the person is a boy."
