Chapter Five

The boys are working and you're still listening to music. Your mind is racing from all of the thoughts you have. Mainly about work... and Woods. All of a sudden, you here a knock on the door. You remove one earbud as you turn your attention to the person. It's Matt.
"Hey Y/N", he says as he sits down on a chair next to you. "Hey Matt. What's up?" You ask him, but you can probably figure out what he's about to say.

"So I was wondering if you wanted to... I don't know... explain what's happening between you and Woods right now?" He asks with a smirk glued on his face. Tanner and Paul quietly giggle. "Uh, I mean, what is there to say?" You say back to Matt, hoping to avoid the aftermath of this conversation. "Well, normal coworkers don't just go and suck faces with other coworkers so, what's up?" You roll your eyes, thinking 'suck faces is way more dramatic then what actually happened'.

"Well we weren't 'sucking faces', we just kissed" you say nonchalantly. "Gahd why do guys have to over-exaggerate small stuff" you huff under your breath. "Because in his mind, it was more than just a simple kiss. I would know, I'm a guy." Matt says casually before hopping out of his chair and strolling back to his office. But what he said starts making you think. It quickly drifts aside in your mind as you begin to work on your business emails.

// Time skip 30 minutes //

A loud knock on your office door snaps everyone out of their work-bubble. Tanner and Paul take off their headphones and you take out your earbuds as you check to see who's standing in the doorframe. To basically no one's surprise, it's Woods. "Hey guys," he says as he takes a seat on a bean bag. "Nothing much" you say as you turn down your music. You hear a weird noise and look over, to find Tanner and Paul almost squealing with excitement. You roll your eyes as Paul speaks up.

"So, uh, how's everything now you guys are, like, a couple?" He says calmly in attempt to hold back his girly screams. "Well uh it's-". Suddenly, some bursts through the door. Short, brown curls wave in front of the person's face. You instantly recognise them. It's Samantha Fekete. "Oh my god. What did I just hear about a couple?" She says as her eyes light up. The two boys look directly at you and Woods. Sam quickly follows their gaze. "OH MY GOD!" She chants repeatedly. "You guys date?!?!" Her happiness only grows as you nod your head. She pulls you up from the bean bag and hugs you. You look over to Woods and he quietly chuckles. As you break apart from the excited girl, you hear some yell out.

"Hey keep the volume down please" Matt asks. You all apologise, well, except for Sam. Instead she rushes over to Matt's office. She comes back a few moments later, looking a lil deflated. "You told him before me?" She asks. "Oh uh not really" you reply. "Then how does Matt know?" "He kinda saw us... kiss" I admit while blushing. She squeals loudly. "Gosh girl, tryna make me dead or something" I laugh. "Okay well I'm 'off'. Gotta talk to Matt about some stuff so see you guys later!" She smiles and leaves.

Sorry for not updating in a while. I've been spending time with my family for holidays and stuff. Also sorry coz this chapter is really short, just felt like I should put in a filler while I come up with more ideas for this book. Comment any ideas and suggestions you've thought of.
