Louis POV
It was early. Probably way to early to be awake, for Louis at least. And truth be told, he had regretted asking Clem to prom. Not because he didn't want to go with her - because he really did - but because he hasn't expected it to be so much work. Who knew that Clementine - lover of football and hater of anything girly - would be so enthusiastic about one of the most cliche, overrated part of being a teenager.

Everything had to be perfect. The hair. The makeup. The dress. Oh don't get started of the dress. The two had blocked a day out to find both a tux and dress which would compliment each other (which apparently you're meant to do?) and let's just say it was not what Louis had expected.

Entering the third shop of the day, Louis sighed.

"Come on, Louis. We're almost done." Clementine said, pulling his arm and they walked in.

Louis laughed. Because the funny thing was they were no where near almost done. Their multiple hours of shopping had earned them to obtain the amazing amount of.... 0 purchases. It was beginning to get dark and Louis still hadn't even tried on a suit.

But the shop they entered had a large range for both Louis and Clem and he had prayed that this would be their last stop.

"Good afternoon! My name is Serah, any way I can help you two today?" Serah had long blonde hair and wore a modestly lengthed black dress.

Louis opened his mouth to say a firm 'No' considering Clementine had rejected all help offered up to this point. But, as she had been doing a lot recently, she surprised him by sighed before saying. "Yes. Please. All I need is a dress. And a suit for him." She nodded her head in his direction.

"Prom?" Serah asked.

"Yes."   "Yes."
They both said at the same time, Clementine in excitement but Louis in fatigue.

"Hmm..." Serah placed her hand by her mouth as she thought. "I think I have the perfect dress for you." She said tugging Clementine by the wrist. "And you." She pointed to Louis. "I have the perfect thing for you. Mason!" She shouted. "Mason, get this young man in that suit I was freaking over the other day."

Clementine hadn't let him see the dress, but Louis was thoroughly surprised at how right the suit looked on him. The burgundy, velvet blazer went perfectly with the black bottoms matched identically with the shoes. The bow tie, also burgundy, hugged the white shirt nicely making Louis look, what he would call, handsome?

Yeah, he looked handsome.

Which is why he had put so much effort into making sure his hair would be perfect for the night in question.

Looking in the mirror, Louis attempted to tie his bow tie. His dreads had been tied into a low ponytail with intriguing twists, all of which he couldn't do himself and thanked his hairdresser for. And with his perfectly fitted suit, Louis was as physically ready as he could be - mentally, not so much.

Louis chugged a few mints into his blazer pocket before checking his watch and leaving to pick up Clem.

||Clem's POV

"Annnnnd... you're done, babe." A women named Lucy, around her mid 20's, stood back to face Clementine putting a brush down. "Now babe, have a look, tell me - d'you like?" She held a mirror out in front of her allowing Clementine to look at herself.

Her makeup was light - rosy cheeks, glittery eyes - but she still looked like her. And her hair was down, a few bits being held up in plaits. Her lips matched her long, burgundy dress which sat on her shoulders with thin straps and a slit by her left leg.
