Katsuki didn’t remember much after he left the playground, leaving Hanta behind. He’s probably too tired and sleep walk to his house and sleep. But whatever it is, yesterday is already
over with three gemstones in his hand –gray, pink, and yellow with white stripes. He wish he won’t need to go anywhere because yesterday is probably the most tiring day for Katsuki. Love is not his forte, nor that does he understand it too. And being in the middle of it, he can’t help but
feel quite useless. There’s still much more to learn for the young Bakugou, and he didn’t know is he ready or not. Everything seems to be coming at him, so suddenly. But he know there will be time where he needs to go to his classmates’ houses door-to-door. And Katsuki will do that, after
he rests for today.

“Katsuki, get your ass up! We’re going to the hospital!”

Of course fortune won’t grant his wish. He let out a grunt before getting ready. He didn’t realize that Izuku still haven’t say anything –even when he handed the gemstones. Katsuki
remember he took a glance on the freckled male before shutting his bedroom door –he looked troubled with something. But it’s still too early –it’s 10 AM- and Katsuki needs the rest. So he didn’t say anything to the phantom. Let the shorter male handle it first, he usually didn’t need the ash blonde male’s help anyway.

In fact, Izuku does need him now. He remembers what happened today –on 7th December. It’s actually because of his mother is overreacting –he sprained his ankle for falling from a tree to help a kitten on his morning jog, and he was immediately sent to the hospital. Inko can’t really get rid of her anxiety that clings to her heart. She knows there’s Yagi who tries to keep her baby boy safe, but he’s just one man –and even if he’s in his hero state, she still feel the same scared feeling. That’s why when Izuku is home for the holiday, she felt a little relieved because she can look over him again. Maybe because the freckled male is away from home for quite long, her mother instinct always kicks in and made her overreact. Izuku can’t really do much too,
so he just goes with the flow and always trying to reassure his mother that he’s alright. It’s really not important right? What makes it important is that he gets a chance to spend some time with Katsuki. Ah, remembering it makes his heart beats faster. But that’s not the only thing he felt now, he also feel anxious. Will the taller male do the same like when he hasn’t meet the phantom? What kind of surprise does Bakugou Katsuki bring for today?

~****~

They finally arrived at the hospital, and it goes like what the freckled male remember. The phantom looked at his younger self –who’s in flesh and bone- sitting on a wheelchair. He doesn’t need to see Katsuki’s face because he still remember the surprised face the blonde ash male
makes –and it disappear in a blink of an eye, but it somehow still stuck in Izuku’s mind. Mitsuki told Katsuki to take a stroll with his childhood friend, and the young Bakugou excuse himself to go to the bathroom for a while –maybe preparing himself before his mental before he walk with his rival. Yes, everything is the same. But what Izuku didn’t know and also didn’t expect happen.

“Oi Sugarman, what are you doing here?”

Satou was startled hearing the harsh tone from someone that he knew, but never expect. Well whoever with a familiar look or voice with those he know will make him runs to the nearest corner. No one outside from the family is allowed to know that he and his mother is here–especially his classmates. But now someone that never cross his mind is behind him, he’s caught. Ah, he thought he already did a good job with staying away from Izuku since the freckled male was rushed here by his mother. He should have known better, Izuku and Katsuki is always together, they’re childhood friends after all.

“O-Oh hello, Bakugou. I-Is Midoriya fine? I saw him a few minutes ago, it looks like he sprained his ankle..” He tried to change the topic, which creates a backfire effect.
