I walked in the door after getting off the phone and there she was. She was beautiful. I had seen her only twice before. Tears spilled over the edge of my eyes and I could feel the mascara and eyeliner run down my cheeks.
"Arianne, I'm your mom"
Her mouth dropped open and she started to cry as well...
"I knew it."
She ran towards me and jumped into my arms. I snuggled my face into her neck and we had a good cry. When the reunion was over, her adopted parents looked at me.
"You'd better be decent to take care of a child... If not we come back and we take her."
"You won't be disappointed."
He shook his head and looked at the girl he had taken care of for 14 years.
"Arianne..we love you okay?"
"I know.. If you didn't I wouldn't have spent 13 years here!"
