Ashton’s POV.

“You’re really got to be fucking kidding me.” I blurted out the moment I saw the person who annoys me a lot.

She’s rubbing her head, the part where the beer hit her.

I guess the so-called karma works on her instantly. Huh!

She deserved it anyway, but I just don’t understand why I got the feeling of a sudden apprehension towards her. This is a really, really bad idea, I don’t like this.

I heard Gemma’s small laugh and when I glared at her she immediately cupped her hand on her mouth to stop herself from laughing.

“Great. Just great!” I said while nodding my head along with a sarcastic smirk.

Her nose was red and still sniffing.

“I-I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it. I-It’s just that I was about to get water to drink when I saw you coming, so—“

She explained quickly but I stopped her in midsentence.

“Sure! But why didn’t you come out when I yelled, if you really don’t mean it, huh?” I slightly shouted at her while throwing my hands in the air. I already lose my temper on her and I must get out here before this kitchen explodes in my anger.

“I-I-I was on my emotional state and I can’t help it. I got scared when you shouted, but believe me I was about to show up but—“ she looked down. “but I was just got scared. I’m really sorry.” She said nervously.

I hissed a laugh on her stupid reason. “Still not convincing, and by the way, where did you get that stupid reason woman?” I asked her in an offensive way as possible.

I turned my eyes to Gemma with her arms crossed against her chest while biting her nails like a nervous little girl. When she saw me looking at her, I immediately gave her a force beam in a second then turned into a serious one again.

“Why—is she— still doing here?”  I asked her with gritted teeth.

“Umm, ahh, she’s staying here for about just a week or so, until she finds an apartment for her. I insisted her to stay here, if you would ask.” She said, rushing the words on her mouth.

“Oh.”

“Are we going to have a problem with that?” she brought forth.

“Oh absolutely no, go on, make her stay here as long as you want. There’s no problem with that.” I pressed then saw their faces soften and sighed in relief.

“In fact, I thanked you for giving me reason to finally move out in this house tomorrow and find my own apartment to live on. Make her stay here, so I’m aware that I should not have to come back here on purpose.” I said in a harsh way then gave them a grin.

“And by the way,” I pointed out on the weird girl. “Job well done for scaring the hell out my shit, you did it. Have a goodnight two young ladies!” I said then finally grabbed two cans of beer in the fridge then walked out the kitchen immediately, leaving them dumbfounded.

I head upstairs to my room and turned on the t.v then start drinking the beers.

Even though how much I tried to deny to myself that she really got me feel so embarrassed, still I can’t help it. She really scared the hell out of me and I despised myself for being so stupid and fell on her prank easily as that. Well, she said she didn’t mean it but it seems like she done it on purpose.

I still don’t believe her, she’s totally weird and her reasons were still not convincing at all.

And why on earth she needs to stay here while looking for an apartment for herself? And why Gemma insisted to make her stay here? Did mum know all about this? I bet she knew.
