I silently stalked a monster in the shape of a bear, with front arms of a lion, and spikes along its back.

Covering my weapon in lightning, i threw the axe at the bear-like monster.
It somehow managed to dodge the axe in time, but the lightning field caused paralysis on its left arm.
"Tch, a little closer and i wouldn't have to fight." I cursed and stepped into the bear's sight.
"Hey there big ugly, want a piece of me?"
The bear growled and charged me.
By luck, i dodged its claws, but not its wind blades.
Should've guessed so
I took out a hatchet out of my belt
"Alright you ugly bear, come get some!" I ran across the room and threw the hatchet covered in lightning
The hatchet barely scratched the bear, but it gave the bear more paralysis.
Not expected, but not bad either.
I punched the bear and grabbed the axe i threw earlier.
Before i could pull it out of the ground, that damned bear swiped its claws at me!
I was right to dodge it, because its wind blades easily cracked the walls 10 meters behind me.
"Whew, close call!" I gave myself some distance
Now what do i do?
I looked at my axe and realized that it's handle was slightly dented!
This big ugly bear is stronger than i thought!
I activated my Lightning field and rushed the bear again, this time relying on my only fist to give myself and edge on this fight.
Electricity jolted at its body as my fist connected with its head.
It moved back, probably realizing i wasn't a normal human.
I picked up my hatchet and started slashing its body as it tried to recover from the blow.
The sound of its body being slashed apart and its pained roar were music to my ears.
It gave a few surprising counterattacks and slashed my stomach.
I gave it another good punch and slashed its jaw with my hatchet.
