This is dedicated for Jade's birthday last December 26! I love my Kween Jade so much!!

Jade and Perrie has been in a relationship for years but now, Perrie has been very caught up with work to the point that they don't even talk. And then here comes their anniversary...

Jade's POV

The chilly air that swept in the room through the windows woke me up from my sleep. I instinctively pat the space next to me, only finding it void and cold.

I sighed, she wouldn't be there again, is she?

I stood up and walked to the bathroom to do my routine and when I was done, I went out the room and headed to the place where I suppose she is.

I entered the big wooden door to her study and I saw her there. She is sitting on the swivel chair, her hands both holding a paper, she is wearing her glasses and with the stern look on her face, I can tell that she is in a serious state and is really focusing on what she's doing.

I walked towards her and when I reached her, I crouched down to be leveled with her cheek and planted a kiss on it.

"Good morning, baba.", I said.

She put the papers down and she looked at me and smiled sweetly.

"Good morning, baby. Have a good sleep?", she asked me.

"Yeah but you weren't there with me when I woke up.", I whined and pouted at her in which she giggled.

"I'm sorry, baby. I just had to answer an early call from Mr. Steven and I had some paper works to do so I better start it early, yeah?", she said, explaining to me.

"Will you stay with me today? I'll prepare lunch for us.", I said, hoping to lighten up the mood.

"Of course, baba. But I'll just stay in my study majority of the time, is that alright?", she said.

"As if I can do anything about it. It seems like you love your work more than me.", I mumbled and moped around, a sad pout forming on my face.

I looked at her in the eyes and with that look, I can already say that she's feeling guilty. I didn't mean to make her feel like that but there were times that I was so lonely because she's not home and it feels like her work is getting in the way of us. I just want to be with her much more often.

"Sorry, baby. But you know this is for us, right? And besides, I love you above all things. So, don't think like that. That pretty face of yours shouldn't have a pout on it unless, you want a kiss from me, hun?", she stated and with her last sentence, I couldn't keep up with my act and giggled instantly. She really knows how to cheer me up.

"Okay. I love you.", I proclaimed and leaned in to kiss her lips.

"I... love... you... more...", she breathed out in between kisses and pecks in the lips and all over my face.

I can't help but smile and giggle at her antics. When she stopped her sweet actions, I finally decided to make breakfast for the both of us, knowing that she hasn't eaten yet because she always puts her work first.

I went out of her study and went down to the kitchen. I checked the ingredients in the fridge and decided that I will just make an omelette and fry some bacon.

I finished after 15 minutes and I set the table, putting two plates and the omelette and bacon on each. After everything was set, I sighed contentedly and went my way back upstairs to fetch Perrie in her office so we could have some breakfast together.

As I entered her office, I saw her standing and preparing her office bag, carefully putting her paper works in so it won't crumple. She is already wearing a white polo and black slacks, her blonde hair is in a low bun and she is wearing her black heels.
