Does any of you want me to write a special alternative ending for Late Nights (Parts 3 – 4 will change) wherein it will show what would happen if Jade did not forgive Perrie. The alt. ending would kind of have a negative ending or should we just leave the Late Nights oneshot on this? [& I also kinda wanted this to end positively but if anyone wants me to write that I might also do it ;)] And I'm also accepting requests for oneshots! :)
Jade's POV
It's been 15 minutes since Perrie left and I'm still frozen here in the exact same spot where she left me like my body has been glued to this chair all of a sudden. I'm staring blankly into nothing, anything just to get my mind out of this misery. Everything seems to be interesting at this moment except for what's happening to my life.
Should I chase after her? Should I call her now? Should I visit her office? What on Earth should I do? It would've all been simple if we talked things out first before she concluded about everything and left me here alone without hearing my side about what Jed told her.
Lately, I've been really thinking of giving Perrie a chance. I know in my heart that I still haven't moved on from her because if so, then, I would've already been with Jed by now but no. I still love her too much despite the hurt that she put me through and I'm really hoping that she have completely changed & I am seeing that. No matter how hard I try to resist her, I just end up going back to her everytime.
Now what? Now that she walked out on me for the second time around but this time, I want to run after her. I am willing to make it work – to give her a chance to make up for all of her mistakes. I know it won't be easy for her to build my trust back up again and it won't be easy for me as well to give in to her once more but I think what's important now is the chance to make it all right – the chance to try no matter what the outcome might be.
I slowly stood up and cleared the table. It's a good thing that it's not a busy time at the café right at this time so I can let my staff take over for the day. I know exactly what I should do now but first, I have to talk to someone... Someone that is only around by the kitchen.
I roamed around the table in the café for a while, trying to gather my thoughts and how I should start the conversation about what happened. After I've checked that there weren't any plates or trash left, I decided to face what I should do now. Stalling won't take me anywhere and it will just leave me wondering.
I turned to Holly who was checking our sales for the day and I told her to watch over the counter for some time or until I'm finish with what I should do. After she agreed, I went to the kitchen, looking for a specific guy and I found him taking his break at the staff lounge room.
"Jed, hey.", I spoke directly to him, he was lost in his thoughts too, looking away while sitting in the bench.
"Heyya, Jadore. You done out there with... you know who?", he asked and I approached him soon after, taking the place at the other end of the bench where he was sitting.
"Yeah, we're... done. With every sense of the word. And I actually want to talk to you about that, is that alright?", I replied, stating my intentions quickly. I just want to clear things up with him.
"Of course, you can always talk to me if we don't have any more table to wipe out there.", he quipped and I laughed lightly at that, not really feeling to joke around and I think he must've sensed my unsettlement.
"Are you okay? What did she tell you?", he queried.
"She ended the thing between us – not that we were ever anything again. She just gave up on courting me again.", I sighed at that.
