Randy POV
"Ok, here's her medication. She has to take it every morning and every night. Only one will do, and she has therapy it's scheduled every Friday. And, here's a suggested place for her to go, it's a group where they discuss their problems. And, whenever she has a headache or a panic attack give her two of these and that's it." The nurse informs Simon as I lay on the hospital bed. This is so much work living this life that I have. I'm not a suicide watch which is great. They don't trust me with a razor which is horrible because how am I supposed to shave? Well, I guess I have to gain their trust.
"Thank you, so I can I take her home today?" Simon asks curiously.
"Yes, but keep an eye on her. She can cut her wrists or do anything to herself in under two seconds. Just make sure she gets enough rest." The nurse says before heading out. Simon nods and then looks at me.
"Do you think you're ready to go?" He asks me. I sit up and sit on the bed to where I can dangle my feet from the bed.
I hop off and walk over to him.
"I'm as ready as I'll ever be. This place is so annoying, there's no freedom. It's just lock up." I say and he chuckles at my statement which makes me smile. His laugh lines are visible and really I can tell I'm going to have some fun being in a new home.
"Oh, yes, I got you some clothes and I found your size on the shirt and pants you had. Here ya go." Simon says handing me a bag.
The bag is just a regular plastic bag. I head into the bathroom that's connected with the room I'm in.
I place on the outfit and it's a classic tartan plaid shirt and black denim high waisted shorts I tuck the shirt in a little bit and I brush my frizzy black hair and place on the red knitted beanie and head out the bathroom. I place the hospital gown on the bed and look at Simon since I have no shoes. He hands me my black Dr Martens and my iPhone?
I never had an iPhone.
"What's this?" I ask him curiously.
"I bought that for you. So you can stay in contact. I have you all the contacts needed. But, you'll meet millions of people and they'll give you their numbers. And, you actually got a lot of new stuff since you're living with me and my wife. Like, the room you will soon see." Simon informs me.
"Are we still in Ireland?" I ask with my cute Irish accent. Simon is British as far I known. My mum was also British.
"Yes, but we have to get to my jet to head to London." Simon informs me handing me my book that was in my shoulder bag from school. They probably through it away along with many of my other stuff and only have me the things that I needed. The book I have is The Fault In Our Stars. I've read millions of times. So has many others.
I place the iPhone in my back pocket and clutch the book to my chest as Simon grabs my hand.
"You should keep your head down, ok?" He sas more as a question.
"Ok, I don't feel like looking into the light anyway." I say with a sigh he chuckles at my comment and I look down at the ground and he opens the doors of the hospital and I hear many people snapping pictures and questions being asked by people. But, I don't look, I don't want to.
"Who is she?"
"Is she your daughter?"
"Are you getting a girl for the boys?"
And many other questions are asked but I don't feel like hearing the others, those three are enough. Simon helps me into the black van and closes the door. The car has black tinted windows so no one can see us through them. But, we can see them.
