"that's right, kun hyung's desk has a file of lee jeongsuk's information, with jeongmi's along with it." chenle explained once more.

why would kun need jeongsuk's information?

"we'll wait for the younger ones to come back first. i will message all of you individually. where is kun anyways?" i asked, hoping that anyone could tell me.

"hyung, he told me that he went out to do something. when i asked what was it about, he changed the topic." sicheng told us.

"exactly, kun hyung has been acting kind of weird nowadays. but none of us asked him why though." jaehyun added.

i nodded before continuing, "jungwoo, when we are having the meeting later on, i need you to distract jeongmi, bring her to the mall or whatever. about kun's whereabouts, we'll discuss that later on." i told them about my overall plan.

"wait, jeongmi's here? woah!" yuta and ten exclaimed.

i glared at them, "you two better be serious about this, don't try anything." i finger pointed them.

both boys snickered before saying that they won't.

i dismissed them, but held jungwoo up.

"how is she doing?" i asked him worriedly.

"she's doing fine, i asked her about the necklace. but she said her parents gave it to her, not before hesitated for quite a while though. i'm pretty sure she remembers something, just not telling me anything." jungwoo reported. "i'll tell you if there's anything new."

i nodded before glancing at jungwoo. "you," i pointed at him, "better not try anything. i know you're not like yuta or ten, but you know, i spent years finding her."

he chuckled before telling me, "hyung, you know, the longer she stays here, the more people will definitely fall for her. i probably already am. maybe chenle too, who knows? taeyong hyung, you'll have to act fast."

i stayed quiet. he was correct.

without saying anything else, jungwoo left the room.

he peaked in again, "she's quite pretty ya know hyung, why are you acting so cold to her anyways." but quickly ran away afterwards, like he was scared i will hit him or something.

i shook my head.

"jeez, what's with these people really. i bet 1 million us dollars yuta and ten's gonna try something." i muttered to myself before getting up and heading back to my office.
