Chapter 20

Zoey's POV:

As we unloaded all our boxes and started to unpack I got a text from Roselind

"Are you going to church camp?" She asked

I been to church camp since I was in 4th grade, I'm not sure if our church camp is different!

"Of course!"

I was kinda scared because I didn't really talk to anyone! Other then Dylan! Dylan and I have talked everyday since I first met him!

He is such a cutie! We already FaceTime late at night and sometimes I'll fall asleep and he will say something like "Zoey Zoey wake up!"

He makes me smile! I love when he (try's) to sing to me

My summer had been crazy! I just found out that I'm moving, had to say goodbye to everyone, pack, unpack and now a week from now church camp is coming!

Rosalind's POV:

I really hope Zoey decides to go to church camp. It would be amazing. I know she doesn't really know a lot of people. But she knows me and seems to be getting to know the Vard family pretty well. I know Zach will be fine. He has already made friends with about every guy in the youth group.

*buzz buzz*

I get a message. I look at my phone.

It's a number I don't recognize.

"Hey"

"Who is this?"

"Zach"

Oh my gosh! It's Zach! My heart is racing! I can't believe he texted me.

"Oh hey. How did you get my number?"

"Col gave it to me."

"Oh that's cool, so what are you up too?"

"Nm i was just wondering if Ash was going to football camp next week."

"Uh I'm not sure, do they have it this year?"

"Yeah, there's going to be some of the high school football players helping out."

"Oh that's cool are you playing football?"

"Uh yeah but I won't be able to help with the football camp though, because we will be at church camp."

"Oh yeah. So your going?"

"Well yeah my dad was saying it would be good for us to get to know all the youth."

"Yeah I'd say so."

"So do you know if he's going?"

"Let me ask.... Yes he's going, dad said he was."

"That's good!"

"Yeah well I better be going. Ttyl"

"Ok ttyl."

I can't believe Zach just texted me, my heart is racing. I hope I didn't sound stupid. I hope I didn't bore him. Well I mean the conversation was mostly about Ash. But still he kept it going and sounded like he wanted to talk.
