Briar's P.O.V.
I am finishing my work on my office. I look outside through the window, and I can see it's raining slightly. I've always loved the rain, it is so relaxing and cozy, especially in the winter.
I am putting some papers on my bag, to finish at home. By now Myles might be already at home. Yep, Myles and I live together, I mean we're 23 years old, it was time to move together. Our parents were so happy for us, saying we were made for each other, as well as our friends.
Suddenly, I hear my phone buzzing. I pick it up, and turn it on. It's a message from an anonymous number... Should I open it? Yeah, I mean what could go wrong?
I open the message, and I see a picture. It is a brown hair woman kissing a man that has also brown hair. Then I look closely, and I see someth..... What??? What is this???
No no no please tell me this isn't true.... No I can't handle this I can't...
Tears start falling down my cheek immediately. I gasp, because the brown haired man, is..... Myles. How could he do this to me??? HOW??? I thought he loved me!!! But he just went and cheated on me??? What the heck??? I don't want to see him ever again in my life!
I drop my phone, due to be shocked and to be breaking inside.... I start crying more loudly, I just can't control it. I also start feeling a pain on my chest.
I feel my body being controlled by anger, and I push everything on my desk to the ground followed by a scream. I pick my things up, and go immediately to our apartment.
I arrive there in a matter of minutes. I was lucky I didn't have an accident because my eyes were blurry and I could barely see a thing. I open the door, and I run to our bedroom. I think Myles saw me because I hear footsteps, but I couldn't care less.
He enters the bedroom "Bri? Is everything alright?"
I keep taking clothes out of the closet, packing them on a suitcase "I'm leaving".
"What??? Why?"
"I don't know you tell me!"
"Briar I swear I have no idea what you're talking about"
"Stop playing dumb you jerk!!!" I yell, feeling my eyes getting watery. No please can't cry. Not in front of him.
"Briar explain me what's going on please!" He begs.
"Why don't you see it by yourself" I put the picture and throw my phone at him. I feel more tears falling as I imagine the picture in my head. I look down so he doesn't see my weakness.
"Bri.... I know this looks like me, but I swear for my life to you that this isn't me"
"Then who is it??? Santa???" I yell. More and more tears come to my eyes, and I don't control them anymore. I don't even care.
