"don't you say i'm like dad!" jaehyun shouted. everything else just passed through him. but the insult concerning his father filled him with rage.

he ran to his room and buried his head in his hands.

he wished so badly that he wasn't his son.

all he had ever done for him was screw up his life and made his mom bitter.

she used to be so sweet and patient.

now she was resentful and filled with hatred towards her only child.

her anger was misdirected, and she knew it.

yet she made no attempt to change.

if he did what the app asked him to, he could escape to a whole new world-

where everyone wanted to be your friend, tests didn't matter, and most importantly, no one cared about who your parents were.

jaehyun didn't want to live as a criminal's son any longer.
