Friends

 This is really not a chapter. I am going to introduce you to Caleb's new friends and explain their personalities and how they met. Comment if you see any grammatical mistakes. My grammar is not that good yet.

Caleb has gotten a lot of friends in Deorum, it seems that not many people in Deorum judge you  by class grades or what your powers are, some do but the world is not perfect bad people exist. But Caleb found the right group, with the help of Jay of course. 

His new friend group consists out of four people. These four are his really close friends he has other friends of course but they are not mentioned here.

Lola Aberdeen is the first friend he got after Jay. He and Jay met her in their ancient history class, she was sitting in the back of the classroom and writing on a computer. There were two empty seats next to her so they sat together, later the teacher paired the three of them up for a group project. Lola is very ambitious about her work, she kind of scared the boys first but they got along fine. She is very smart, she wants to be a scientist and she also studies magic. She studies them both to be able to make connections and do and create things that you cannot do with only science or with only magic. She follows the way of Thoth, Odin, Neith and she studies the way of Athena just to know more about battle strategy she also studies Daidalos and his inventions.She needs to laugh and the boys can really make someone laugh. Lola does not know her dad. He was a star-warrior (star-warriors are warriors who fight evil to keep the balance of the world, they also hunt down abominations that are a danger to the world) he died on the job. The star-warriors have an army in different places they are most know in the legends but they are a part of the royal army in the magic kingdom of China (Magic kingdoms are places that exist on the same place as the country but another dimension, if you would be there you would see the country like it was in its best of times, like the magic kingdom of Egypt is like Egypt was in it's ancient times. But the magic kingdom of China is different it looks like a fantasy land from an anime show, lots of colors magic creatures like dragons and unicorns, flowers that grow even in the snow. The have the royal family control light and weather and it is a tradition that one of the generals is a star-warrior.) He died when she was only one year old, she has a slight memory of his smiling face. Her mom told her that he was always ambitious about all he did and he always knew what he wanted and got it so she wants to be the same so she works hard a little too hard sometimes. So she needs to loosen up and the boys will help her a great deal with it. 

Lola has brown long hair that she braids, sometimes a regular braid, sometimes a french braid and sometimes she has a waterfall braid or halo braids. She has dark brown eyes, olive skin, slim nose, cupid lips and a pretty round face. She has a slim body and oval face.

Lani Kyle is a friend Caleb got on his own. He met her in the Athena library (almost every god has their own library) she was reading with music in her ears. He walked up to her table and asked her if he could sit there, she did not hear him, he asked again and again and again. After the seventh time he tapped her on the shoulder, she jumped up in the air but after they had a pleasant conversation. After that they started meeting in the library and then he introduced her to Jay and Lola. Lani is the most wonderful girl there is, she is positive, kind, generous, caring and loyal. She will always help you no matter what. Lani is very funny and will always make you laugh no matter what mood you are in. She follows the way of Aphrodite, Hathor and Demeter.She has two loving parents and an older brother. Her family is very happy but they do not have that much money, they make it through the day but just barley. She has a scholarship to Deorum that is how her parents can afford her going there, her brother is fifteen and he also has a scholarship to a private school. He works at a coffee shop after and before school to save up for college. She is always thinking of her parents and working hard to keep her scholarship so she will not have to leave or take her parents money. It never shows on her but she thinks of it at night and gets sad. She knows both her parents work on the holidays so she has decided to not go back because she knows that if she does they will feel forced to stay at home to be with her.

Lani is has dark skin, curly black hair, but she has bright blue eyes that shine. She always straightens her hair to keep it from being in her way. Lani has bony arms but her body is not bony, it is a mystery to her. She has round head and big eyes.

Daniel March actually came up to Caleb and Jays table at lunch. He asked if he could sit with them. Daniel is a very shy and quiet boy. He is an orphan and goes to Deorum on scholarship. He has no confidence and very low self esteem, he is afraid to speak up and say what he thinks, he does not argue on anything even if he knows he is right. He is very smart and he is an artist and he thrives to be an architect when he grows up. He follows Apollo and Athena's way. The only thing he knows about his family it that his mother died in childbirth and his dad left him, said that he would not raise a killer, so Daniel rather tells people that he is an orphan. He never had friends before for the reason that people always call him weird. They think of him as weird because he was never socializing with anyone as a kid he just drew what was around him and he designed buildings. He was always a brilliant child but as all brilliant children he is not appreciated. But he got past what other kids did to him when he started Deorum, but he could not just get over low self esteem or get confidence over night. But he is trying hard and sitting with Caleb and his group, was the beginning to his long journey, it was not all a dance or roses (well dancing on roses is painful so maybe it was) it had its ups and down. But in the end it turned out fine.

Daniel is tall, has brown hair and green eyes, he is pretty skinny, he has an oval face and wears glasses.

Just a quick addition 

The night soldiers is not just a team at Deorum, they are a team out in the real world with a headquarters and they save people from practically what ever you can think of ancient monsters that escaped from their prison or crazy witch/wizard  lunatics. Every generation works together so there are at most times two different teams, the headquarters changes for every generation. 

Trace and Thalia are a part of the night soldiers so they sometimes work at odd hours and it worries their kids. 

Sorry if the descriptions are bad but I am horrible at describing people. I am trying to get better though. Thank you for reading
