Caleb lays down on his bed, it was past midnight, he was happy to be back in his own bed ans his home. He was even happier that his friends were there with him, making him like Christmas even more. He was also happy that Lola was ok.
Her mother had sent her a message informing her of what had happened. But is was so cold and she also told Lola that she was going to sell their house since she never spent any time there. She was now gonna travel with her fiancé soon to be husband and Lola was gonna be sent to her aunt for the summers and holidays. Lola likes her aunt but she was still hurt that her mother was doing this. But after multiple phone calls to her mother and aunt Lola felt much better. She was still mad at her mom but her aunt assured her that it was fine and that she would see her on her next holiday and that she would set up a room for her. So everything had been resolved.
He sits up leans back on the wall and takes up Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows but then he hears a knock on the door, the knock is slow and hesitant.
"Come in." He says and the door is opened and there in the dark is Jay.
"Hey, can we talk?" Jay's voice is quiet and a little scared.
"Yeah sure just close the door." Caleb puts down the book on his bedside table while Jay closes the door and sit down on the bed in front of Caleb.
"Earlier today I think I had a vision about your destiny." Jay says and Caleb's eyes widen.
"What did you see?" Caleb's voice is worried. Caleb knew whatever his destiny is, it is bad enough for his parents to hide it from him.
"Only bits and pieces. I saw us and the others and your sister Rosaly." Caleb's eyes widened in worry, is his sister a part of his destiny? Of course she was, she is his sister. " I saw a battlefield and the other things I could not make sense of." Caleb nods at Jay.
"Thank you for telling me." Caleb's voice is grateful.
"Of course." Jay replies as he stands up.
"Sleep tight."
"You too"
Caleb leans back against the bed.
" Will I never be free of my destiny?"Caleb asks himself quietly.
Caleb sighs. Why does it have to be him? Why can he not just be allowed to live a normal life? But then the answer came up to him he is the chosen one. Just like Harry Potter is the chosen one, the one who would destroy Voldemort, he is the one that is gonna save the world. But from what he wonders and that question changed his life.
Three months later
Spring is here, Caleb thinks while starring out his window. After Christmas he told all of his friends everything he knew about his destiny and they all agreed that all that was to much for any ten year old to handle no matter how brilliant he was.
"Well Harry was only one year older than I am when he first faced Voldemort." Caleb had answered and after that comment it came up to him. He may look and sometimes act like ten but his brain was far ahead of him. He could so things not many adults could, he learns languages like normal people learn words, his magic is stronger than most grown wizards and much more complicated.
Caleb walks away from his window and pick up the newest picture of his younger brother Aleem. In Arabic which was his mothers mother language it ment scientist. Caleb wonders if Aleem would, like him and Rosaly have overnatural wit. He smiles at the picture and then leaves the room.
Jay is away on family buisness, apparently his mother has come back for some reason and Jay and all his siblings have gone to New Orléans to be with Mr Stone. Caleb can not blame them Aisha Stone had really hurt him she just left no explanation, but then again Caleb can not help but wonder maybe she changed. But of course he did not tell Jay about his thoughts, because unless you see it is hard to believe.
