"Oh come on Rosaly it is already a known fact that you are a better archer than I will ever be no need to shove it in my face."

Rosaly puts down her bow and looks at her brother with a bright smile  and then all of sudden she starts running around until her brother catches her

"Will you two stop playing and come in to eat?'' their fathers voice echoes through the courtyard of the mountain temple and bounces on the walls.

Rosalyn and Caleb Wilson might just have closest sibling relationship in the world and their family might just be the happiest one. Both of the children are over average intelligent, they are both trained in combat and can use more weapons than most grown ups. Caleb taught himself how to read hieroglyphs at the age of six, he learns new languages like normal people learn facts he has more knowledge at the age of 10 than most people four times his age. He is very skilled in combat he can defeat opponents twice his strength and experience. In the beginning he worked on his own. He copied his father and godfather in their training. His studies he did with his mother then on his own.

His sister is not very different from him. She loves to learn but she does not have so many different sides like her brother, she likes art  and science more than anything. Though her brother is the  best at almost everything he does she does stand in his shadow she has always and will always stand beside him, she is his ally, she is the person who will always stand beside him and they will always protect each other.

"Yeah we are coming dad." Caleb replies with a smile on his face still holding his sister.

"Ok good....oh and Caleb let go of your sister."

Caleb rolls his eyes and chuckles

"Do I really have to" He jokes

"Caleb put me down or I swear I will hit you so hard that you will not be able to recognize your self." She says with the voice of an 8 year old. Caleb smiles at his sisters threat and lets go of her and the second he does she turns around and slaps him.

"What was that for." He yells out. His sister just smiles and walks inside. Caleb knows there is no point trying to get her to talk. Because she does what she likes and no one can get her to explain.

When he walks into the dining room his everyone looks at him with a smile and they have a face expression of anticipation.

"Have I done something wrong? It feels like I just walked into a court room." His voice is steady but he is really nervous. Could he have done something wrong, but in that case what? He almost never does anything wrong.

"I do not know son have you done something that I should know of?" His mother asks with a soft but terrifying voice.

"No no nothing that I can think of." He stutters he really has not done anything that he can remember but things can easily slip your mind.

"No my son you got your letter from Educationem Deorum." Caleb's eyes widen and he can feel his heart beat in his chest and suddenly he is struck by a wave of nervousness. He takes a deep breath.

"Ok have you opened it?" He sits down slowly  and asks with a unstable voice.

"No we have not because your dad insisted that you should open it because it is your letter." His mother says while glaring at his father.

"Ok um, maybe I should open it after dinner" He said still nervous

"Well it is up to you but the result won't change becuase you wait and plus your mother has been going mad all day." His dad says in a joking tone.

"I have not!" His mother snaps, making Trace laugh lightly.

"Ok I guess I will open it."

Caleb takes the letter that was on the table and with shaking hands slowly opens it. He notes that letter isn't to big but most of the information had come with his application papers and he he could just ask for a new information catalogue. He takes out the paper and starts reading.

Mister Wilson we are happy to announce to you that..

He puts down the paper and stops reading and a smile grows on his face. And at that second he hear his parents breathe out and his sister screams out in joy and he hears his godfather breathe out and smile.

"But really come on did anyone really doubt they would have to be straight out mad if they did not accept you." He hears his godfathers voice but he cannot reply relief is rushing through his body.

"Caleb you can finish the letter later now let us eat." His father says and he puts away the letter and starts eating.

That night was the happiest for the family but it was the ending of what they knew to be normal.

The next day

Rosalyn woke up the next morning to the sound of her mothers scream. She jumped out of bed and ran to her parents room only to find her mother hunched down crying and her father picking her up and putting her on the bed. She could hear him whisper comforting words to her.

"It is gonna be fine Thalia I swear he will be fine." Her father then turned around and saw his daughter with tears running down her face.

"Oh Rosaly don't be scared your mother is just a little emotional and sick today she will be fine." He says to his daughter in soft loving voice. He bows down and picks up his 8 year old daughter

"I just have to make a call and then we can eat breakfast together ok?" She slowly nods and he puts her down outside his room and closes the door and takes his daughters hand while walking over to his study.

Rosaly sits in one of the of the big chairs in front of her fathers big desk while he is talking over the phone with someone in a language she does not understand, when he is done he gives her a warm and kind smile.

"Where is Caleb and uncle Saif?" She asks becuase Caleb has better hearing than her and her godfather is always aware of what is happening after all this is his mountain temple they are in.

"Your uncle took Caleb for hunting earlier today, your brother woke up before four am this morning and so Saif took him out to calm his nerves." His voice is soft steady and loving.

"Ok was Caleb tense or nervous?" Her voice is soft innocent and scared it breaks her fathers heart to hear her like that.

"He had nightmares again and couldn't sleep." His explains while going to pick her up once again. Rosaly stares into her fathers honey brown eyes clings her hands around his neck and holds on like it is a matter of life and death. And slowly she sees tear building up in his eyes but he quickly blinks it away.

"Now let us make breakfast and we will eat together when they get back." He smiles at her once again and this time his smile is sincere when he looks into her eyes, a pair identical to his.

While in the kitchen Rosaly decideds to lighten up her dads mood so Caleb will not think anything has happened, from what her father said he is still dreaming of their godmothers death and she was fully set on making this the best day ever.

But the little girl had no knowledge of the changes that lie along the way. And she had no knowledge that nothing would ever be same.
