Daniel had been away for a very long time, touring with his friends—something he loved doing. The only downside not seeing you and his babygirl.

Daniel opened the door and walked through the hall he hasn't seen in a long time. New pictures have been hung up on the wall.
And then he saw the two things he had missed the most. [your name] and Emma. He crouched down; a huge smile has made itself home on his face.
He then playfully ran to Emma who was in your arms. The father couldn't be more happy to see the two most important people in his life again.
He hugged both of you. "I missed you both so much. What did I miss?"
"Look." You broke the hug and put Emma with feet on the ground. "Dani, go stand a meter away," you said letting Emma's hands go. "Go walk to daddy."
Emma took some wobbly steps but managed to get to her father without falling. "That's my girl," Daniel said picking her up and kissing her on the top of Emma's head.
