Australia Part 3 (Hanah's P.O.V.)

I heard some beeping and my eyes felt glued shut. Opening my eyes and moving my fingers felt like a chore.

Sophia: SHE IS UP!

I heard her run out of the room. I had my eyes fully open now, I started to stretch then I noticed my foot.

Hanah: Shelby???!!!

Shelby ad Sophia came through the door.

Shelby: Is something bleeding again?!

Hanah: No. But.. I broke my foot?

Sophia: Not your whole foot, only three toes. I’m not really sure how, you didn’t even hit it that hard from what I saw.

Hanah: How long will I be in here? Will we be able to go home?

Sophia: Yes, we can go back to the hotel in like an hour they said. You will have crutches.

Hanah: Yay. Crutches.

Shelby: Hey I remember in like middle school you always played with crutches and faked that you sprained your ankle when we went places! That was funny. So now you really have to use them!

Hanah: Shut up. Wait we missed the concert!

Sophia: Its okay, we saw the rehearsal and it would be really loud.

Shelby: Yeah I was gonna buy ear plugs for us.

Hanah: I’m hungry.

Sophia: You have been up for like five minutes and your hungry.

Shelby: Well she was out from like 4 hours.

Hanah: FOUR HOURS?!

Shelby: Well its now 8 and we got here at 4.

Hanah: Ugh, I just wanna leave. Hospitals are creepy!

Sophia then walked out of the room, not sure what she is doing. Then a nurse came in.

Nurse: Your friend is filling out the papers, we just need to make sure you can use the crutches to walk.

Shelby bent down to me and said “Helloooooo nurse!” is a whispered tone. I hit her for that one. It was just my luck that I got a male nurse, so awkward.

Nurse: Well, erm, do you need help up?

Hanah: Actually, yeah. But do you think my friend could help because she will be the one helping me.

Shelby: Why do I get to be on help Hanah dutyyyyy…

Hanah: Fine we will wait for Sophia.

Sophia came in the room on cue.

Sophia: Whoa, who is the Daley look-a-like?

Nurse: Im Tom, not Tom Daley. Tom Kingsley.

Hanah: Sophia stop flirting with the nurse! Come help me up!

Sophia turned bright red and glared at me. The nurse kinda chuckled but he was red too.

Sophia walked over and helped me out of bed, the nurse handed me the crutches. They were to short so the nurse had to fix them, I was screaming in my head ‘THIS IS SO AWKWARD’. The nurse fixed them and they were the right height now. I could walk perfectly fine with them.

Nurse: Well we just need one more thing done for the papers, then you home free! Who is going to do the papers.

Sophia: I will! I did all the others.

Nurse: All right, come with me.

The nurse and Sophia walked out and couldn’t here me through the door.
