Rythian's POV

As the night went on, more and more people slowly moved into Duncan's lounge, including Sjin. I'd managed to stay away from him and only give him the occasional dirty look which he gladly returned. It looked like we both didn't want to crash the party and had a mutual truce on. I was in the kitchen leaning on the sink sipping some cider when Duncan walked in. He picked up a largw bowl of crisps and when he saw me he smiled. His entire face lit up and I could see every little detail on his face and his eyes seemed to glow gently like glowstone. I realised I was blushing and shook my head to snap myself out of it.

"Come on Ryth, we're playing spin the bottle join us! We're mostly all drunk anyway." He managed to state. It was clear that he was barely able to stand due to alcohol, and I wasn't sure whether or not he'd make it to the lounge without collapsing. with a sigh I agreed. Duncan's face lit up and he grabbed my wrist and dragged me towards the lounge. I've never blushed so hard in my life. we sat in the lounge and Simon placed an empty cider bottle on the floor. Some of us giggled, some of us looked around slightly nervous. Simon spun the bottle and we began.

Duncan's POV

it was actually quite funny watching random people kiss everyone. at this point, Rythian was the only one who had only kissed someone of the opposite sex. I'd kissed Sjin, Lewis, Kim and Hannah (Hannah had pulled the short straw because she'd kissed practically everyone) Rythian had kissed Zoey and they were could friends so there was no issues there. Sjin leant forward and span the the bottle for the millionth time and we all watched as it landed on me there was the usual "waaayyyy" from everyone and Sjin span the bottle again. and it landed on Rythian. I instantly felt myself go red as I glanced and Rythian would looked like he'd just been asked to swallow a knife. we were right next to each other and as the chanting of "kiss! kiss! kiss!" started up, I gave Rythian a nervous smile which he returned before he removed his mask and we both leaned in. our lips touched for only a brief moment Rythian pulled away, in that time I was alive. I ignored every single person in the room ignored my nerves and pounding heart and was just
