Dedicated to the lovely KaylaKeifer for her lovely cover :] Should check her out.

I know this part is a little out there at the moment and it's basically just made the whole school thing go pewf, but bare with me I'm trying to set somethings up. I'm also pretty sure people are going to be like "WTF!?!?!" in their minds, but I swear I'm not crazy. I promise.

Riley pressed herself against a tree, hiding. It was a rare moment these few days, they'd find her and she'd have to run again. This was a cat and mouse game, in which Riley was the mouse. She thank whoever she needed to for letting her be so small. Then she heard it, his howl. Riley threw herself out of the tree and ran for his howling, the people of this trap turned and headed for him as well.

Breaking from the woods Riley say her handsome mate in his huge wolf form looking around. She ran for all she was worth toward him, shifting in to her wolf as she went. Ian saw his little mate running toward him, as fast as her paws could carry her. He didn't have time to react when she slammed in to him, making them both fall. His body shifted to human, and Ian was hugging the life out of the female.

"You stupid female alpha I've missed you so much. Why did you go and run?" He asked.

Riley shifted back to human not really caring they were both naked, as she just hugged Ian.

"I'm sorry I was ticked off. I missed you." She gasped.

The mated pair sat there hugging each other, as the people of the land watched on. This female didn't need their help, she never did. Her mate could take care of her, after all he was one of the first bloodlines. They started to fade one by one, in to nothing, but the old man stayed and walked forward.

Ian's head snapped up to look at the threat coming toward him, Riley shuffled closer to his chest. She looked at the old man smiling at her.

"My dear I just have one question.....Who are you?" He asked.

"Riley Redwood. One of the only original new borns." Riley replied.

His and Ian's eyes widened, while the man bowed, Ian hugged her. Riley just blinked and looked at them both.

"There is hope. We've been waiting for you, someone strong enough to carry the name and the battle that comes with it. There are some sleeping full breeds waking up right now, they will come to you. Becareful Alpha some people didn't want the Redwoods to rise again." The old man said, before he to faded.

The pair sat there for a few minutes in silence, neither knowing what to say to the other.

"So um when did you find out you were a Redwood?" Ian questioned.

"From Ren." Riley answered.

She stood up and shifted, ready to get out of here. Ian shifted as well and the two were running for home yet again.

Though this time when they got back everyone was outside on edge with the three people standing outside the school. There was a girl and two very huge guys, but yet they were smaller then Ian. The three noticed Riley walking toward them and the necklace on her neck and they all went down on one knee. The students of the school were uneasy from it.

Riley shifted while she was still walking, the bright sun shined on her showing scars that were inflected on to her by her old pack. Someone stiffened at the site of them. Ian stuffed one of his shirts over her head, covering up her body from eyes. She sat right down in front of the three and they looked at her wide eyes.
