Nico jumped up and waved his hand in the air. His sword appeared in his grasp. Will almost yelped. He threw the blanket off of him. "let me help!" Nico shook his head and ran toward the door. "Annabeth, keep him safe!" Nico said as he walked out of the room. He could hear Annabeth say "Roger." As he ran towards the screaming and smoke.

Nico couldn't believe what he was seeing.

He was amazed.
And terrified.

There was mutiple people passed out around a Inky Aura. The black mass had almost hands reaching out and grasping little balls of light.

Nico could see Harry passed out as a memory floated away from him. It was a younger Harry with Hagrid in some type of shop ally.
Nico growled as he realized this must have been what happened to Will.
What kind of monster takes people's memories?

Nico advanced. Blinded by rage he sliced at the mass without thinking much of a plan.
Of course his sword passed through the Aura. The mass noticed Nico and stopped taking the memories. Once it did, the students groaned and blinked. They moved slowly away as they watched Nico yell at the Aura.

"HEY BITCH! PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE!!" Nico yelled and got into a stance. The mass made a gurgling sound. Nico started walking towards it. He didn't get very far because his knees became heavy.

A inky feeling washed over him. It felt like he was drowning.

It took him a second to realize he was on his knees. Black smoke was coming off him in waves. His skull ring glowed.

His head felt like it was turning into a rock.

He looked up to see something floating. Music was coming from it.

It was a memory of him and Will dancing. Nico remembered it. They were celebrating Graduating highschool. Will was going to medical school.

"Hell yeah guys!" Nico raised his glass that had Whiskey in it. He might've been underage but he was happy. He was celebrating. The Seven Raised their glasses with him. Even if they had already graduated, they were happy for them.

The memory was grabbed as another one appeared. They seemed to be rewinding because the next one was of Nico and Will in highschool. It was when Nico got into a fight with some jock.

Nico hissed as Will grabbed him under is arms. He squirmed under the hold. But Will wasn't going to let Nico beat up the poor idiot. "fucking bitch. I don't give a shit if that black girl is your sister. I can hit on her whenever the fuck I want." The jock cursed. Nico almost got out of Will's hold which caused will to yell. "Nico calm down!" the jock laughed. "how about you listen to your boyfriend you faggot-" will let go of Nico. All hell broke loose as the principal tried to separate them.

The memory was grabbed. A new one surfaced. Nico wanted them to stop.

Nico sat quietly on the patient bed. Will cleaned his wound as he was humming. "you know it'd be great if you didn't try to get killed every week." Will joked. Nico chuckled. "Yeah whatever. It's not my fault I'm a monster magnet." Nico defended. Will rolled his eyes and grabbed a needle. "Okay I'm starting the stitches. Need anything to bite on? This a big mess you got yourself into here." Will asked. Nico shook his head. "I've had worse. You know that." Will scoffed and started stitching Nico up. "Yeah. What the fuck was you thinking coming back with INFECTED cuts and stab wounds??? Did those idiots not heal you properly???-"

Nico and Percy were sparring. It was normal practice. Swords clashing swords. Will and a couple other people were watching. It was winter break and Percy had decided to visit for a day or two. People were cheering on both of them. It seemed like Nico had the upper hand-
Nico dropped to his knees. He couldn't breath. Will and Percy shouted in alarm. Percy dropped his sword and clutched Nico's shoulders. He turned to Will who had ran to them. "What?!-" Will waved him off. "Panic attack? PTSD??- get everyone away. You can stay but make sure he's not being watched.."

The music got louder. His head hurt. Was he laying down? He couldn't tell. He was numb.

"Come on Nico. Let's dance. Nothing good is going to come out of you sulking." Will said as he crossed his arms. Nico rolled his eyes. "Let a man sulk." Nico grumbled. "Nope. Come on dude- I thought you liked panic at the Disco?" Will asked. Nico shifted. "I do."
"Then get your ass up. I didn't wear this suit just for show. School dances suck if you don't dance." Nico rolled his eyes again but danced with will for the rest of the night. He was happy.

Nico almost sobbed. He was burning. He felt as if he was on fire. He could hear the goddess laughing.
"Nico Nico. Your ripe with memories. It gives me great pleasure to dig in that head of yours and fish them out." Nico looked up and saw a woman. Her hair was almost made out of smoke and her white form flickered. "Fuck....you." he spat. The goddess laughed. "You can still speak. That's fun! Will couldn't after I did that to him. He couldn't even move." The goddess said as if she was listing her favorite parts of a movie. In Will's defense, Nico could barely move.

The goddess smiled and walked away from Nico towards the students who were watching. Some screetched. Even some of the teachers were watching. They were frozen though. The goddess's doing.

Nico struggled to get onto his knees. The kids.
He couldn't let her harm the kids.

Nico yelled at himself. He slowly stood. He used his sword as a cane almost. Black mist started seeping from his feet. The room got cold and he growled. "I'm not done with you, bitch." The goddess turned around in shock. "son of Hades, you are stubborn."

The goddess sneered. Nico narrowed his eyes. "So are you, Mnemosyne." Mnemosyne hissed. "I'm not her anymore. I'm better. I'm powerful." Nico got into a fighting stance. "Whatever you think you are, I know. And I won't stop until your gone." Mnemosyne barley missed a blow from Nico before disappearing.
