_______
Nico

Days went by fast. In between of trying to contact the camps and also trying to catch the goddess, not a minute went by where Nico wasn't tired and angry.

Every time he got a letter back from Chiron he felt the pain within the words. he would try and reassure the old centaur, but nothing seemed to ease him. the only thing that could put him at rest was the death of the goddess. (how could you kill a goddess?)

Will tried to help with the letters and made it a goal to make sure Nico didn't see them as much so he wouldn't be in such a bad mood. Will would make sure that the letters from hazel would get to Nico as fast as possible. He knew how much is fiance missed his sister and cherished every letter he got.

Nico was writing, once again, a very lengthy letter to Hades concerning the camps and the goddess. He tiredly put his pen down, sighed, and semi slammed his head down onto his desk.

He was drained.

The constant letters he wrote left his thumb swollen and fingers stiff. Will, gods love him, was trying his best to help Nico. but along with helping Annabeth research the goddess, he had his own business to attend.

That was when the door slammed open

Nico's head shot up out of his daze, seeing Will, and Annabeth jog in with smiles on their faces.

"We've found her!" Will shrieked, Nico swore he hadn't seen him this happy in weeks.

"What?" He said, taking his neck and cracking it to try and get the soreness out of it.

"The goddess! We've pinned her down- well, not exactly-,"

Annabeth interrupted, "what Will is trying to say is, we've figured out a way to stop her."

Nico stood up, a smile gracing his lips. For the first time in a couple of days, things were looking up.

Nico stood beside Will as Annabeth and McGonagall thumbed through old scrolls, trying to find the right ones to explain the whole goddess-catching process.

Will lightly ran his finger across Nico's palm, shyly giving him a dorky grin. Nico blushed and grabbed Will's hand to hold.

When can we stop acting like we're 15 again? We're never going to stop acting like kids.

"Here!" Annabeth loudly exclaimed as she held up a yellow piece of paper. It was wrinkled and stained, showing it's age and use.

"Here it is! This is how we defeat Mnemosyne!"

Nico studied the paper with a raised brow.
"So....what's it say?"

Annabeth blushed and cleared her throat. She turned the paper around to show symbols and pictures.

Some of the pictures showed God's being captured or kill, and others being banished. The symbols, strangely, glowed a faint red.

"It's not what it reads, it's what it whispers and shows. Mnemosyne is Uranus's daughter and mother to the nine muses. Uranus was castrated-"

"Cut off his balls," Will muttered.

Nico huffed, "Annabeth, please don't tell me we have to do anything gnarly."

Annabeth rolled her eyes and sighed at the pair.
"No. We have to redirect her own power onto her, assuming it'll be powerful enough to stagger her. That's when we'll be ready with this."
