Chapter One

“Lilith wake up, it’s your first day of school. You don't want to be late.” I jumped awake when my Mom ran into my room and out again.

I groaned, I didn't want to go to school.

It was my first day at a new school and there already have been a month.

I jumped in the shower washing everywhere and rubbing my favourite vanilla and caramel shampoo into my hair.

I put on light pink lacy underwear, and a high waisted green maxi skirt and a thin brown belt around the top with a white vest crop top that showed only a little bit of my stomach. I applied gold eye shadow and top eye liner and mascara to my eyes and pink lip gloss. I straightened my honey coloured hair which came just past my breasts.

I put on my gold watch my gramps got me for my birthday and green and gold bangles; I also put a selection of gold rings on my fingers. I pulled on my black combat boots and grabbed my brown side bag.

Once I got downstairs my Mom and little brother Seth were eating breakfast at the table.

I tripped over one of the unpacked boxes that was in the kitchen and fell flat on my face.

I groaned and rolled over, that was going to leave a bruise.

I looked over and saw my brother laughing his arse off and my Mom trying not to laugh.

“Hey squirt I’d shut it unless you want to walk to school.” I snapped.

He stopped immediately and I smirked loving having the power over him.

“So not fair.” I heard him mumble.

I grabbed a juice box and granola bar.

“Let’s go.” I called to my brother.

“Ok give me one minute.” He said and ran upstairs.

I rolled my eyes and said goodbye to my Mom.

I walked out of the house and jumped into my old black land rover.

I loved my car it looked brand new but really it was like hundred years old... or near enough... I think.

I put on my ray-bans and ate my granola bar waiting for my brother.

After waiting five minutes I beeped my horn.

Five minutes later my brother ran out with an evil smile planted on his face.

“What are you planning?” I asked when I started to drive.

“What—nothing.” He said and looked out the window.

I narrowed my eyes “You better not be because it’s the first day of school... don't be difficult.” I muttered knowing full well, I will probably get into trouble.

We arrived at school and I looked around for a car space when I spotted one near the entrance I smiled... my lucky day.

We got out of my car and everyone was staring.

I clucked my tongue—a habit I have.

“Hey loser thanks for the ride.”

“Hey, good luck finding a ride home... sucker.” I called and laughed at his annoyed expression.
