Me and my family had moved from the Big Apple in New York to the small town of Germantown, Tennessee.  I now live in a big navy blue house with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. I got to  choose a big room with a view of the backyard. I had hung up blue curtains around the picture window. Then, I put my loft bed next to the window and  put my Pottery Barn desk underneath it. I placed my dresser inside the huge walk-in closet in my room, and hung up my one dress for church and my many tank tops. Then, I folded up the rest of my clothes. I only had 3 more boxes to unpack when my mom came in.

" Hey, Sweetheart. How's the unpacking coming?" My mom,Sadie Fleisher, is tall, blonde, and very beautiful. She has no wrinkles, and has a very kind face. Her lips are naturally peachy pink and are always in a smile.

" I'm gettin' there. I just have three more boxes left." I am 15 year-old Kendall Fleisher. I have side bangs that swoop perfectly in front of my right hazel eye. My hair is a light shade of dirty blond. And my lips are like my mom's, naturally peachy pink.

" Well hurry up slow poke. I wanna go get some pizza as a family." My family consists of 10-year-old Kelsey, 13-year-old Jake, 5-year-old Jane, 5 month year old Spencer, me, and my parental units (Mom and Dad).

I hurried and stuffed and jammed all the rest of my crap in all the nooks and crannies I could spot. I pulled on a pair of jean shorts, a lime green tank, and my combat boots and ran out of my room, down the stairs, and into the living room.

"Nice of you to join us , Sis." teased Jake. He has the darkest hair in the family, with brown hair. his green eyes popped against his tan skin. He has the lean body of a swimmer, even though he plays baseball.

       "Shuddup, Dork." I replied, playfully.

" Y'all ready to go?" asked my Dad, Bryan Fleisher. His hair was light brown and just as tan as Jake, but he has blue eyes. He had only lived in Germantown for a week a he already has an "accent".

The whole family piled into the Buick Enclave and drove to Gerabaldi's Pizza. Kelsey, Jane, and I all shared a 20 inch peperoni pizza. Mom and Spencer didn't eat, because Spencer's still breast feeding. Jake and Dad  split a meat-lovers supreme.

"How can you guys eat that?" My little sister, Jane, asked.

"Like this." said my dad as he took a huge bite of the pizza.

After we were done, we got into the car and drove home. On the way, I stared out the window and swore I saw something following the car in the woods next to the road. "Stop it, Kendall," I told myself, " Your just imagining things." But that night as I put my head down to sleep, I looked out the window and saw two eyes staring out from the bushes. I stifled a scream, because at that moment the figure stepped forward out of the shadows.

" Oh my god."
