August 2030:
It was a fairly average day for Jun, she was walking barefoot down a dirty alleyway, torn shopping bags filled with old vegetables hanging from her arms and hands. She reached a door that had obviously been repaired by hand many times, there may have been glass panes in the door in the past but now black plastic bags were taped over empty gaps in the door-presumably to keep the roaches out- as she slowly creaked the door open she saw a skinny figure scuttle out from behind a crate. He reached a skeleton hand out slowly and then snatched one of the bags.
Jun ripped the bag out of his grip and hugged it protectively, "Amit! You have to wait for Roach and Santa oppar!"
"Aren't you forgetting someone?" Teased Amit
"Shut up, he's not coming back and you know that. Why do you always have to remind me of my heartbreak?" Jun tried her best to not cry by thinking about tiny cute toes.
"Actually" a third voice added.
Jun frantically looked around, before seeing a familiar shape emerge from the shadows.
"You're wrong Jun, I came back."
