Chapter 10~ Action

(Griffins POV)

After class I met Greg and we talked about what was going on. "What do you want to do then Griffin? If they both told you to wait until Friday, then let's wait."

"I know Greg, but it's my mate we are talking about here. I feel useless not knowing anything but I promise the moon goddess I will protect him." After school ended, I walked Austin home.

"Hey Austin, do you want to go to the movies Thursday night?" I ask him. I want to spend some time with him, especially knowing things will happen Friday.

"I'd love to." He says intertwining his hand with mine. The rest of the way home, we just talk about how school went.

"I'll see you later babe." I say winking at him. I see him blush and he just nods his head. I head back to the pack house to inform my dad about what Austin had told me. I walk in. "Where's my father?" I ask the nearest wolf.

"In his office, young alpha." He replies. I head towards his office. I know he isn't going to tell me anything, but I need to inform him like he instructed me to do so.

"Father?"

"Yes son?" My Father looked up at me.

"Today Austin mentioned he saw red eyes through his window."

"WHAT?!?" He says knocking down his chair as he stood. "Why are they acting so early!? How do they even know it's him; he hasn't even turned 16 yet!" He shouts. I'm starting to get extremely nervous; my father never acts like this, and I mean never. He's always calm and strategic. That's why our pack is well known through the U.S  we're the top dogs around currently.

"What is it father? Please tell me what's going on!!! You never act this way and if you ever do it means it's a dangerous situation!" I yell at him.

"I can't Griffin! As much as I want to I can't tell you just yet. Please wait to till Friday but for now I want you to stay near Austin at all times. Tell his mother about this and she'll gladly let you stay over and Austin won't have a problem knowing his mate will be staying over." He says with anger.

"Yes father, I will do everything in my power to protect my mate." He smiles at my response but then his face changes into a serious one.

-I WANT MY BEST TRACKERS AND BEST WARRIORS AS WELL AS MY BETA TO MEET ME OUTSIDE NOW- He says using the mind link he has with everyone in the pack. He also used his alpha voice so they know it's something serious. "Griffin follow me. Let's go." We head outside and everyone is already there.

"Alpha, everyone is here ready for your instructions." The beta says or should I say my uncle John.

"Good. Thanks John." My father says.

"Everyone, I have called you to ask of you something very important. I need you to protect my son's mate and kill or bring back anyone who is not part of our pack, he's being watched. Today my son has told me that Austin, his mate, saw a pair of red eyes watching him last night. This could only mean one thing and it's that other werewolf's are after him. So I ask of you to protect our future Luna. I know you want to know why there after him, but I assure you, Austin's mother and I will tell everyone the truth as well as Austin. He doesn't know anything yet. So will you take this request of mine?" He says. I hope I can be like my father or maybe even better when I take the alpha title. Wait whoa hold on. He said Luna...that could only mean one thing, but no he might just have said it; but what if...ugh I can't wait until Friday!

Everyone says in union, "Yes alpha, we will take on this task and we are very happy that out future alpha has found his mate."

My father smiles at the response. "Thank you all. Now I want our trackers to scout out this uninvited guest and I want our warriors to either kill them or bring them back. I'm going to let my son choose 2 of you to guard Austin at school. Son," He looks at me. I'm thankful for what he's doing but now I have to choose 2 people to help me protect Austin and I already know the 2 I will be choosing.

"Jason and Cole, come forward." I say. They both come forward and I smile at them. "Will you 2 do me the favor of protecting my mate."

"Yes sir, we will do whatever it takes to protect our Luna." Again with the Luna, but I smile at them.

"Thank you." Both Jason and Cole are my childhood friends and I trust them with this. They are both very strong, 2 of our best warriors and they're mates.

"Okay, tomorrow both of you will be attending school with Griffin. The rest of you know what to do. This meeting is dismissed."

Everyone in union says, "Yes alpha." and everyone leaves. I can feel our packs thoughts are very happy I found my mate. I love him and will protect him!

(Unknown POV)

"Sister, you have found my son a good mate. I thank you, but they are still after him."

"I know brother. If things get worse, you and I may interfere, but only if it's to protect him."

"I will have to talk to him either way sister. I need to tell him who his father is. Who I am and what I am."

"I know brother, but for now let's see what happens. He's my nephew after all and he's your son."

"I'm sorry Austin, for what you have to go through. I love you son."
