Chapter 17

*15 minutes later*

We arrived home and I went up to Grayson's bed and went on my phone.

GRAYSON❤️: GET READY INTO SOMETHING NICE BUT COMFORTABLE. ETHAN AND I HAVE TO GO PICK SOMETHING UP FROM THE SHOPS. I'LL PICK YOU UP IN AN HOUR XX

A smile instantly grew across my face. I immediately started to get ready. I decided to wear a nice small dress with some high knee boots (cover photo). I decided to put my make up on with care unlike all the other times. I wanted to look pretty. I usually don't like make up but I only wear it for special occasions. Before I knew it one hour past.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Hey Y/N, you almost done in there?" Grayson asks through the bathroom door.

I looked at myself in the mirror and nodded at myself and exhaled. I slowly opened the door to see Grayson looking down at me. He was wearing a black suite with his hair nice and slick. He is one fine man.

"My god you look gorgeous" he says with a small smile on his face while looking at me.

I blushed and replied "So do you Ass clown, sooo where are we going?".

"Surprise" He says as he grabs my hand.

He guides me down the stairs and out to the car. He opened up the passenger door for me as I hopped in. What a gentleman. We drove for about 40 minutes until we started to slow down. We hopped out of the car and a nice small restaurant stood in front of us. He put his hand on my back as we started to walk in. It was so beautiful. It was very quiet but the lights were a dim colour and the tables were decorated with precision. It looked very expensive.

"Oh my gosh Gray, it's beautiful" I say quietly.

"I'm glad you like it. Anything for you gorgeous" He says grabbing my hand and intangling our fingers.

"Reservation for Dolan" Grayson says to the waiter.

"Follow me this way" he replied.

The waiter took us to a nice table for two in the corner tucked away looking out over the ocean.

We sat at the table and talked about anything that came into our minds while we waited for our food.

"I think our groups like each other a lot" He said with a smile.

"Why wouldn't they, one popular male group with one popular female group. Makes sense" I say laughing.

"I'm excited for this weekends pool party" he says taking a sip of his water.

"Me too" I reply.

Our food came and we demolished it as we were so hungry.

Afterwards Grayson says "Wait here for one second. I just have to grab something".

I gave him a confused look and nodded. I couldn't help but stare at him walking out the door. I want to touch him so bad especially in that suite. He's so perfect. He's definitely teasing me.

*Grayson's P.O.V*

I start to head towards the door to go out to the car. I could see Y/N's reflection staring at me. I smiled a little. She was so beautiful tonight. She makes me melt every time I see her. I want to touch her so bad especially with that dress. Her make up is put on perfectly and her hair sways in the breeze from the ocean. I'm excited for the weeks to come.

*End of P.O.V*

I look out towards the ocean waiting for Grayson. I turn my head and see him heading towards me with a bunch of black roses. He sits down as he looked nervous.

"Y/N I know I've only known you for a couple of weeks but every time I'm with you, you make me the happiest person alive. You are one of the coolest girls I've ever met. You are different to any other girl I have ever met. When I saw you for the very first time with Ethan just before we skipped class, I was so jealous of Ethan. I asked myself how on earth did he pick up such a beautiful girl. I-I umm... Ever since that day I've wanted to make you mine. So Y/N... will you maybe want to be my girlfriend?" Grayson says nervously.

"Of coarse Gray" I say with a smile.

His smile reaches from ear to ear as he hand me those roses and gives me a tight hug. How did he know I liked black roses? Kayleigh must have told him...

"Y/N I got you this as a promise that I will protect you and love you. It'll be a little reminder of when you became mine and I became yours" He says as he pulls out a small black box.

He opens it and inside was a necklace in the shape of a heart. In the heart it had today's date and a letter G.

"Oh my gosh Gray it's beautiful!!!" I say as he puts it on for me.

I turn around and stare at him in the eyes. I was so happy. I leaned in towards his lips and kissed him gently. He kissed back as he cupped my face with his hand. Our kiss was full of love.

Grayson paid for the night and we walked towards the card. I couldn't stop looking at my necklace.

"How did you know I wasn't going to say no today" I say smiling looking down at the date on the necklace.

"I didn't" he said with a smirk.
