I will be going away tomorrow and I am going to write a few chapters on notes or something so I can publish them when I get back or when I'm there if I have wifi.

I put in quite a lot of effort into this chapter and it took me a while to write, I wanted to make this chapter perfect. I have also been struggling with writers block lately, but I'm all good now.

Enjoy the chapter!

I arrive at the restaurant with Claudia, she looks beautiful tonight.

Jen and Sam aren’t here yet. I’m hoping she won’t see me, well for a matter of fact I hope she does see me. It’s Sam I’m worried about.

Claudia and I order our drinks, I’m driving so I stick with some water. She has some wine.

We begin talking and its been almost 30 minutes since I arrived with Claudia.

“Why do you keep looking at the door? Are you expecting someone else to come and join us?” she asks.

Crap.

“No baby, just me and you. I’m just thinking, that’s all,” I reply.

A few minutes later she arrives with Sam.

My mouth makes the shape of an ‘O’ she’s really teasing me.

She smirks at me. Jen has the smokey eye, the smokey eye that made me drool, 2 years ago when I first met her.

Jennifer is wearing a little black dress, with cutouts. Her figure. I can’t explain the perfection. I don’t realise but I’m drooling once again.

Claudia doesn’t seem to notice as her salad has arrived. She is the complete opposite of Jen, always eats healthy, and when I’m with her I have to eat healthy too. The thing is, when I’m with Jennifer, she wouldn’t care what I ate, what I looked like.

I would think the absolute same for her. I wouldn’t care if she was fat or thin, ate healthily or ate junk food, how she dresses, I wouldn’t mind (however she does look really good in that little dress tonight).

Sam and I sit down and as soon as I walked in, I saw Josh, luckily Sam didn’t.

I keep seeing Josh staring at me, and I flutter my eyelashes, in a flirty way. I know this is very wrong. I know now, for sure. He was telling the truth. He really does love me. During the time I have been with Sam, I have realised I have fallen in love with every aspect of Josh. I realise I have to tell Sam, I don’t bother to wait. I tell him now.

“Sam, I’m so sorry to tell you this now. I really am. I just… it couldn’t wait. I… I… I am in love with that guy, over there. Josh Hutcherson. I realised yesterday, I just… I felt it was wrong to keep it from you and pretend. I did love you Sam. I just I can’t be with you if I love someone else,” I explain.

“Jen, I knew you would leave me for him. I’m not going to get in the way of true love. We all knew you two would end up together. Look at him, I mean, he is drooling over you in that dress. My biggest wish is for you to happy. If he makes you happy, I’m very glad to let you go to him,” he replies.

Phew. But was it really that obvious?

“Thank you for understanding Sam. I just didn’t think it was that obvious,” we both laugh.

“I hope you know, that I really am sorry,” I tell him.

“It’s okay Jennifer. I am completely fine. Do you want me to take you home?” he asks.

“I’m fine thank you Sam. You really are such a gentleman. Thank you for being so good to me,” I say.

“Josh will be better for you. He will make you happy, which is something I couldn’t do.”

I feel so bad to leave him here like this. I kiss him on the cheek and we both smile. I get up and leave and see Josh’s eyes follow me and a smirk appear on his face. I pull out my phone and point at it, telling him to check his phone.

I just have to wait for Josh to break up with Claudia and then we can finally be together, like I always wanted.
