Chapter 20

Luke's POV

I walked into the driveway with Skip and Jai. Beau had asked me to come back and I was a little confused, but I didn't question it. Skip had decided to come with us because he wanted to see Natalie. I walked in the door. "Were back!" Jai yelled. I walked into the kitchen to see Natalie, Beau and Victoria standing there. They all looked the same, Blank face, worried eyes,very tense and silent. It didn't seem like they had been talking. That was highly unusual. Daniel came and hugged Natalie. She hugged him back and a slight smile came across her face, but it quickly vanished. Jai walked in and stood beside Victoria. I could tell they noticed the awkwardness like I did. I was about to ask what was wrong but Beau spoke. "Krista needs to talk to you.." He said barely in a whisper. I got really nervous, what was wrong with Krista? I nodded and headed to Krista's room.

I knocked and went in. I saw her sitting beside her bed. Her cheeks were puffy and her eyes were red. She had been crying. But now she just sat there tense. I suddenly got more nervous, something bad had happened. I sat beside her and held her in my arms. "What's wrong?" She sat up and took a deep breath. "Luke..." her lip quivered. I grabbed her hand. "What?" She closed her eyes and whispered "I'm pregnant"

My heart started racing, so many thoughts filled my head. But we used protection, Did she cheat on me? No of corse not. Were having a baby, am I ready to be a father? Im going to be a Dad.

 I rejoined the world when she squeezed my hand. "What are you thinking?" She whispered her voice breaking. I looked at her, I loved this girl so much but are we ready to be parents? "I.. I dont know." She looked down, I was scared and so was she. I hugged her and whispered "But what I do know is no matter what I will be with you every step of the way." She pulled away and smiled. I put my hand on her stomach. "And if this baby is part of our future then we're going to be a happy family." She smiled even wider and hugged me. "I'm scared Luke..." She whispered. I pulled away from her and then leaned in till our foreheads were touching. "Same here, but we have each other" I smiled and so did she.

Krista's POV

I sat their smiling at this amazing person in front of me. I cried and had a panic attack when I found out. But he was calm and didn't freak out. At least on the outside. I knew that I must have been a month along already, I knew I should go see a doctor. Luke grabbed my hand and we went to join everyone else. 

We walked in smiling and everyone seemed to relax. "You guys.... okay?" Beau asked nervously. I nodded. Then Natalie looked like she got an idea. She looked at me "Well we are going shopping! Call charlie and anna. You boys do what you will then will come back and have a big dinner. Sound good?" Everyone nodded, Once Natalie set her mind to something there was no going back. "But Nat I look gross, my face is all puffy!" I whined She just shook her head and dragged me to my room. She grabbed her makeup and fixed up my eyes. She handed me a mirror and I was amazed. You would have never guessed I was just crying.

I still felt like crying. Even tho Luke was good about the whole situation, I knew he was scared. And so was I. But I wasn't about to sit around all depressed. I can't change it so i'll have to deal. I sighed and followed Natalie to the car. Grabbing my snapback and ray ban sunglasses quickly.

Shopping was kinda dull. Victoria and I decided to hang out in the music store while the others went to a hundred different stores. I hadn't told charlotte or anna yet, but I was planning on it. I looked over at Victoria. She was holding the new one direction book. But before I could even say buy it she had put it down. She had such a strange look on her face. "Vik whats wrong?" She just shook her head and muttered nothing. "Victoria, I can tell when something is wrong with you. Now whats up?" She looked up at me. "Im just scared for you, No offense but I dont think your ready for this. Not just the baby but the hate. From our fans, Janoskian fans, people at school...." She looked down. I knew she wasn't proud about saying that. "Viki look, id be lying to you if I said I wasnt scared out of my mind right now. I know there is going to be hate, but the only opinions that matter to me are my family and friends. " She looked up and half smiled. I grabbed the book and bought it without her seeing.

My phone buzzed *Text from NAT* I opened it and sighed. "Viki Nat wants us to met them at some store. we better get going." We walked out and headed towards the store. Victoria suddenly started dragging me towards a random store. She knelt behind a rack and pulled me down. "What the.." "Shut up! Look over there!" She pointed in the direction of a group of guys. And then I saw him. Honestly 3 dexter incidents in a week? My life was not getting any easier. 

Victoria's POV

I grabbed my phone and dialed Charlotte's number. "Hello?" I kept my voice low "Charlotte, Kris and I are in..." I looked around to figure out which store we were in. "Aeropostale, We are kinda trapped cause dexter is right outside the store. Spy mode down here so we can get out? He never attacks her if we have numbers." Just as I said that he started walking closer. "Were 2 minutes away" I hung up and looked at krista. She looked mad. "I hate running into him everywhere!" I nodded. I looked over and saw Charlotte, anna and Nat with their hoods up and sunglasses on.  They walked into the store and I pulled Anna down. They both followed suit. "So how do we get out without him seeing her?" I asked. We all thought about it. "We could just quietly walk out with krista kinda hidden?" Nat suggested. I couldn't think of anything better and neither could anyone else so we decided it was our best shot. We all put our hoods up and sunglasses on.  

We slowly walked out. We were almost out, but suddenly Charlotte tripped and everyone looked over. Including Dexter. Charlotte jumped back up and we ran. We didn't stop running until we reached the car. Charlotte, Natalie and Anna shoved all their bags in the trunk and we all hoped in. I backed up and saw Dexter running towards us. I floored it and got us out of there. Once we were on the road we all relaxed. That was close.

Krista's POV

I looked over and everyone started to relax. My phone started ringing *Incoming call from: LUKEY<3*   I clicked answer. "Hey" , "Hey,sup?" Everyone looked at me, "Who is it?" Victoria asked. "Its Luke" I said to her "Just driving home, What about you guys?" I said to Luke. "Nothing, im bored." I laughed "So you only call me when your bored eh?" He chuckled "No, I called cause your mum wants to know if we want to use the cabins this weekend. What does she mean by that?" A huge smile came across my face. "Its my cottage, about an hour away. Tell her yes!" I jumped in my seat a little. Luke chuckled "Alright sounds fun, see you soon?" I nodded then remembered he couldnt see me. "Ya see you in like 5 minutes. Bye" I said my smile still stuck on my face. "alright, love you bye" "Love you too" I hung up and turned to everyone. "Cabins this weekend, you guys down?" They all smiled. "Hell yes!" Charlotte yelled. I laughed "Your cottage? Sounds cool, Im in!" Natalie said and smiled.

We pulled into the drive way and got out.  The girls grabbed their bags while Victoria went inside. "Were home!" I yelled walked over to the couch and sat beside Luke. Then I remembered the book, I pulled it out and threw it to Victoria she started to protest but I just shook my head. She smiled.

We all had a great night. Victoria, Charlotte and Anna left. Everyone else went to bed. Luke and I stayed downstairs and put in a movie. I was so excited for tomorrow, the cottage would be fun. What an... interesting day. I quickly fell asleep.

Hey sorry for this bad chapter but im going to be busy for the next couple days and I needed to update. Plus had writers block :P
