Chapter 23

Krista's POV

We were almost home. I was sitting in the back with Luke. I let Beau drive cause I wasn't feeling up to it. We were following Victoria (Who had the GPS). I felt sick to my stomach. Once we got back I was driving charlotte home and was going to tell her and Anna. Luke offered to come with me but I decided it was better if I did it on my own.

We pulled onto my street and I felt a huge knot in my stomach. I dont know why I was so nervous to tell them, they were two of my bestfriends. But I guess I just didn't want them to look at me any differently. Natalie looked back at me. "Kris you ok? You just got really pale..." I nodded. "Just nervous to tell the girls I guess." She nodded and turned back to the front. We pulled in my drive way and I sighed. I put on a smile and got out. "Beau my mum wont be back till after me and my siblings are at my dads, dont ruin the house please?" I said. He put a fake look of shock on his face and held his hands up in defense. "Who me? I can't believe you think I would do such a thing!" I laughed and hit him in the arm. Him and Luke grabbed the luggage out of my car just as Skip put charlottes in. I climbed into the drivers seat. Charlotte kissed Daniel goodbye and jumped in the passengers side.

"Time to go home!" She smiled "Hey listen when we get there I need to tell you and Anna something ok?" She nodded and plugged her iPod in. We sang along to her playlist. After we had jammed to Next in Line by Walk the Moon and Whoa is me by Down with webster she put on my favorite Young the Giant song. My body. I started to dance and that made Charlotte laugh. "Stop! The train is riding, Down to the station where you lived,When we were school kids" I sang then she took her part of the verse. "Hey! The rails are caught now, And I am falling down. Fools in a spiral, Round this town of steam. " Then we both joined in for the chorus. "MY BODY TELLS ME NO! BUT I WONT QUIT, CAUSE I WANT MORE! CAUSE I WANT MORE! MY BODY TELLS ME NO!" I stopped and laughed. We were such idiots.

I pulled into her driveway and my smile fadded. Now or never.  I helped her get her stuff out and followed her in. "IM HOMMMMME!" Charlotte yelled once we got inside. "AND KRISTA IS HERE!" I covered my ears and laughed. "You done screaming bud?" She nodded. We walked upstairs and I went to Anna's room. I knocked on the door and she opened it right away. She smiled and hugged me. Charlotte came and pushed us in Anna's room. I laughed and sat on her bed.

"So Kris what did you want to tell me and Anna?" Charlotte asked. I took a deep breath. "Can you guys promise you wont judge me?Or treat me any differently?" I whispered. They nodded, now looking concerned. "Well.... I'm...." I took another deep breath. I shut my eyes and put my head down. "Im pregnant" I whispered. Silence. I carefully opened one eye to see both of the smiling. Okay now I was confused. Charlotte started jumping on the bed. "OH MY GOD IM GOING TO BE AN AUNTIE!" My jaw dropped. Anna hugged me "Congrats Kris!" This was not right, what the actually hell. They are happy? Then charlotte stopped jumping and sat down. "This is so amazing, Ive actually always hoped one of my friends would get pregnant in their teens so I can help them with the baby etc. IM SOOOO EXCITED! CAN I BE THE GODMOTHER!" I laughed, what a colourful kid she was. "Sure you can!" She screamed and ran around the room. Anna and I laughed.

My phone buzzed. *Text from LUKEY<3* I smiled and opened it. "Everything going okay?" Charlotte stopped screaming. "Is that Luke? wait Luke is the father right?" I smiled. "Yes and Yes" She smiled and jumped up and down. "Im gonna call him!" She shrieked and grabbed my phone. She dialed his number and started skipping around the room. Damn she was happy. "LUKKKKKKKKE ITS CHARLOTTE OH MY GOD CONGRATS, IM FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW!" I heard him laugh on the other end. I managed to get charlotte to sit down. "No I am not high im just happy for you guys! So is Anna!" I laughed of coarse he asked her that. I pryed my phone from her. "Hey sorry about that" I said chuckling. He laughed "It's fine, im guessing they took it well?" I laughed "Yea creeply well actually. Ill be home in a bit. Love you" Charlotte was rolling on the ground now. "Love you too" I hung up and helped her up. "I have to go, but you guys can't tell anyone ok? I want to keep it from the fans as long as possible.I will legit never speak to you again if you tell anyone" They both nodded and I walked out. I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. If only my mum would take it the same way.
