A few days have past since the photoshoot, life was back to normal. 

The pictures were going to come out next month in the Agreste Fashion magazin and Marinette had sworn to Mr. Agreste that she wouldn't tell anyone about it, not even that she designed something for him, it had to stay a big secret. 

That was the reason she hadn't told Alay what had happened that day. Marinette tried to act as normal as possible when she was with Adrien but it was really hard, ever time she saw him she relived the kiss in her head and started to blush. 

Alya was beginning to suspect something and was getting angry at her for not saying what was going on. Until one day in class.

"Hey Mari, have you realised lately how much Adrien looks at you when he thinks no one is looking? Did something happen between the two of you?" 

she suddenly asked. As much as Marinette wanted to she could not keep her blush from rising, which told Alya something had indeed happened.

 She squealed "OMG i knew it, tell me everything girl." 

but Marinette couldn't because of her promise. She looked away sad. "I can't" she said before running home. She hated that she couldn't tell Alya anything. She knew Alya could keep a secret and that if she'd tell her she wouldn't tell anyone else but she didn't want to break her promise to Gabriel Agreste because he was the father of Adrien but also because he could ruin her career even before it began. She was passing in her room when Chat Noir arrived on her balcony.

"Good evening Princess" he wanted to say more but saw the state she was on so he dropped it. Instead he walked over to her and hugged her.

"Princess, what's wrong, did something happen?" Marinette looked up at him and started to cry, she just couldn't keep it anymore. 

The whole time she cried Chat was holding her, at some point he had taken her to the sofa and she was now lying half on the sofa half on Chat Noir who was playing with her hair, trying to calm her down. After a while her hiccups finally died down and the room was filled with comfortable silence. 

Chat knew she would tell him when she was ready so he didn't push her. 

"Did you ever have a secret you couldn't tell anyone, not even your best friend?" Marinette asked out of the blue breaking the silence.

Chat chuckled "Well, yeah" Marinette understood what he meant and knew now how stupid that question would have sounded and started to laugh with Chat.

"I mean I have this secret I have to keep for some time and my best friend realised I'm keeping something from her and now she's angry. I really want to tell her but if I do it might end my chance to date the boy I like and end my career even before it starts."

"Have you tried telling her that?" Chat asked.

"I-" Marinette started but then averted her eyes. "No"

"Why don't you do it now? You can call her and tell her or ask to come over."

Marinette looked at Chat with sad puppy eyes. "But if she comes over you will have to leave." she said with a pout on her lips.

Seeing her pout Chat snickered. "Cute" he said. "Why don't you facetime her and then I can stay here just out of her view."

Marinette looked at chat, trying to figure out what she was feeling right now. Never in her life she would have thought she would ever had been sad at the mention of him leaving her. 

When she thought about him she had started to feel warm inside. Chat sat down on her bed while she started up her computer to call Alya. 

The moment she pressed the call button Alya picked up. "Mari where did you go? You suddenly ran away." Mari chuckled, this was classic Alya.

  " Hi Alya, sorry about before, I just didn't know how to tell you this. It's really hard. But before I tell you anything you have to promise me that if I don't want to answer a question there is a good reason behind it and please don't be angry at me for not answering." 

Alya looked at her a bit saddened. "Is this about this afternoon because it's ok, if you don't wanna tell me something. I understand."

"It's not that I don't wanna tell you but it's that I can't, not yet anyway. Yes something did happen between me and Adrien but I can't tell you what. I will be able to tell you next month. I made a promise to someone to keep it quiet until then otherwise he could ruin my life and my career. But I really want to tell you everything."

That's ok girl, just promise me that the moment you can tell me I want to know everything."

"Thanx sweetie."

"See, I told you is was going to be ok" Chat said after Mari had hung up. They talked some more and Chat also helped her with some of her new designs .

Like I told you all in the previous chapter I stil have to study for the exams and won't be able to post every week, but don't worry the moment my exams are over I'll continue this story at full speed.  thank you for reading my story.
