When Marinette entered Adrien's room he was pacing back and forth. When he saw Marinette he flew to her arm. "Mari I was afraid my dad had done something bad to you, you had been gone for hours." Marinette held her kitty firmly in her arms, she had really missed them. "Don't worry my kitty, I will never leave you, I promise." 

She understood now that Adrien had not just lost his mother but also his father that day and that he had been different before. Adrien was very good in the arms of his lady but he was dying to know why his father wanted to talk to Marinette and why he couldn't be there as well. He broke the hug and looked at her with his best doll-eyes.

"Why did my father wanted to talk to you?" he asked her. Marinette flicked his nose playfully. "Wouldn't you wanna know, Kitty." Adrien was in full on pout mode now. "Of course I wanna know" Marinette grinned, " Didn't curiosity kill the cat?" she was very proud of her mischievous face, she had learned from the best after all and was good enough to even use it on him to pay him back, even though those doll-eyes didn't help to keep up the game. Adrien stood back up, proud and grinning slightly. "But satisfaction brought him back you know."

No-one beats Chat Noir at his own game. Marinette rolled her eyes and finally gave in. "He wanted to give me a contract to come work for him as a designer." During a few seconds Adrien just stood there mouth open to shocked that his brain had literally stopped working. When he came out of his stupor he took Marinette in his arms and turned her around. 

"OMG that is so amazing Mari!" he shouted. When he put her back down they sat in on the couch and talked about all the amazing stuff they were going to do together as a power couple. Not only as Chat Noir and Ladybug but also as Adrien Agreste and Marinette Dupain-Cheng the power couple of the designing world. Marinette designing clothes that Adrien would model for, everybody would want to know them.

When Marinette had gone home because it was a school night and had to be home before dinner something suddenly struck Adrien. 'How come Marinette was 2 hours with my dad if he already had a contract ready and all she had to do was sign it? What else did they talk about?' he wanted to transform and ask her but luckily plagg talked him out of it so he postponed it and went to do his homework.

At home marinette didn't think of homework, all she could think of was a way to help Adrien's mother. Knowing her parents weren't going to check up on her again she transformed and went to master Fu. 

"Good evening Master Fu, I hope I'm not interrupting but I have a question I would like to ask you about the miraculous." Master fu who had been meditating looked over at Ladybug. 

"Not at all Marinette what is it you want to know?" he invited her to sit dawn and gave her some tea. Marinette let her transformation drop so Tikki could have fun with Waze and started her Story. "I wondered what would happen if our miraculous were damaged." Master Fu was worried. "Is your's or Chat's broken?" 

"Not ours no, I heard of a story of the peacock miraculous being damaged and the owner falling ill and I wondered if there was a way to reverse it." 

"A few years ago a young boy came to me asking the same question, I will tell you the same thing I told him, the only way to save her is with the most powerful kind of magic. At that time I didn't know what it was, so I tried to do more research but without the book I couldn't find anything more. Maybe now we will find something." He said while going to fetch his Ipad where the pictures of the book where. 

Being the master he was the only one who could really read the book. "Ah there it is, A damaged miraculous can only be saved by the greatest power of all, where truth and lies come together will the power be unleashed." Marinette was lost in her thoughts for a moment before she sprung up. "I know what needs to be done." she said before transforming and going home, a plan already forming in her head.
