Ch8 Hurt

"(Y/N), I..I'm..sorry..." 

You looked at him with shock. 

"F-for what? If you're talking about what we just did, don't be sorry! That was great I-"

"No...It's not that. Cat..." he spoke low, avoiding eye contact, you visibly cringed when he said that word..."Cat".

"We've been equal rivals for years now, but it hurts...every time I shun you or push you away...It hurts, hurts like hell. I was hoping that if I made you hate me, and eventually when you leave me, you would have no regrets. And maybe it wouldn't hurt as much to let you go." He continued, your face grew sad, but soon turned angry.

"Ba--Katsuki, listen to me. I hated you, but I just couldn't seem to leave you. I did hate it, I wanted so bad to be stronger than you, but we are equals through and through. Yet...yet...you always got the credit, you always got the attention, YOU GOT EVERYTHING! AND THAT HURT ME! And even with that pain, I confessed to you my feelings, hoping you would hear me. But no...your little pack of 'friends' spread the word. This is the part that you never saw, the other girls would tease me and yell and scream at me, telling me that I would never amount to anything, that you didn't care if I lived or died!" you got up and grabbed the collar of his shirt and forced him to look into your eyes.

Your Mother's quirk kicked in.

-FLASH BACK-

"Why would he love someone like you when he could love me?!"

"You're trash! You're nothing!" 

"He will never love you CAT!" 

"Yeah! You're just a Copy Cat!"

"I bet, he doesn't even know you exist!" 

"I've seen the way you look at him! You disgusting CAT!" 

"I bet your mother is a witch who sent her black cat to give Bakugou-kun bad luck!"

"You're no good for him! I bet he hates you now!"

"Stop it...please..."

"See girls! She's weak! Equals my ass!"

"Let's beat her up so bad that she will never even attempt to look at Bakugou-kun!"

"Yeah!!" 

They used their quirks and the heels of their shoes and their ringed fingers to kick, punch and beat you. Your vision would go white every once in a while. All while this is happening you hear one word...over and over AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

"CAT"

"CATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATCATACATACATCATCATCATCATCATCATCAT"

You snapped-

"COPY CA-" 

You grabbed her neck, the other girls stopped and backed up.

Your eyes lost their gleam. 

"H-hey! Put me down!" she screeched

"That hurt..." you said bluntly

"Uhh yeah it was supposed to hurt you dumb bitch! You CA-" 

You snapped your fingers, she was blown into a wall and knocked out. You turned to the other girls and gave them a devilish grin, a grin that could scare the devil. One by one you knocked out each girl, until one. She ran. 

You chased after her, she would turn and scream.

"Never turn your back on the me!" You screamed as you grabbed her hair and set off your quirk  and sent her flying  back into the fence. 

Rain started to fall, and when it rains, it pours.

The cold rain washed away the blood and hid the bruises and scrapes. 

You walked up to the bus station.

Bakugou soon walked up next to you with an orange umbrella over his head. He looked at you and said

"Here use my umbrella I have a hoodie." he spoke quietly as his elementary uniform got slightly wet from the rain.

You turned to him with hurt and empty eyes on the brink of tears.

He looked at you with an unreadable expression. 

You narrowed your eyes with hate and anger,

"I have a hoodie too" you said just as the bus arrived, Bakugou held out his hand to help you onto the bus, but you just decided to walk home. 

Everything faded to black.

-END OF FLASH BACK-

You dropped Bakugou down. 

You gripped your head, as it was pulsing from the pain and hurt from those memories.

Bakugou didn't move, he held still as he processed the information. 

You screamed and howled in pain. Cold tears roll down your burning face.

~Katuki's POV~

Thoughts buzzed through my head, the pain and hurt that came from those memories flooded my heart and my head. It feels like those memories could break me or at least leave me with a crack in my heart and soul...

I looked over at (Y/N) she looked like she was in so much pain, I wanted to comfort her so bad. But I couldn't move. My heart hurt so badly that I just couldn't bring myself to move. I was stuck. I was broken.

-Normal POV-

In a fit of crying and hurt you felt two arms surround you.

You felt warm and calm.

You started to cool down, you kept your eyes close trying your best to stop the tears from flowing.

"Shh it's ok...it's ok (Y/N) I'm here for you, you're safe" You felt a voice calm you down...You felt your heart cracking and crumbling.

"Shhh it's ok...it's ok..."

Note- damn...this was intense...phew, I'm sorry but you will have to put up with a little more angst, I promise the pay off will be worth it I swear! I love you all! I'll see you next chapter!
