Beyond The Wall~Adrinette

Marinette's POV

I woke up this morning feeling like nothing was real. 'ONE MORE DAY!!!' My mind is screaming on loop. One more day and my life will forever be changed. "Honey, are you up?" A humongous smile is spread across Marinette's face.

"Yes! I'm up!"

"Good. Get dressed and come downstairs for breakfast!"

"Ok Mom."

I get up from bed quickly and pick out what I am going to wear; I decided on my usual outfit: Floral short-sleeved shirt, pink skinny jeans, and my favorite cardigan. I put my pigtails in and rush downstairs. When I do so...no one was there. It was pretty dark so I started feeling around the wall to find a light switch. Just as I find it--

"Surprise!!!" I jump back in shock, then once I finally recover from the near heart-attack I look around the room and see my parents with Alya, Nino, Rose, Juleka, Alix, Nathaniel, Mylene, Ivan, and Sabrina-whom is probably gathering info for Chloe- all around the room with a cake in the center of the room. It takes me a split second to figure out why they are all here for breakfast then I realize that this was all a set-up for a surprise party they were throwing for me!

"Aww, you guys! This is so sweet, but you didn't have to. We are still going to the same school right?"

Alya steps up and holds on to Marinette's shoulder, "Girl of course we did! This party is to celebrate how we are all about to be students at Francoise Dupont College!" The entire room breaks out into excited squeals of joy and enthusiastic 'yeahs' from the guys (and Alix) whom were all apparently too manly to squeal, but were still doing so on the inside.

"Ok, ok! Let's get this party started!"

Adrian's POV

I have been up for about two hours doing a photo shoot. When I woke up this Morning I got dressed and ready for the day and went to go find my father which was hopefully in the kitchen ready to eat with me, but to no avail; he wasn't there. Rather than my Father I saw Nathalie holding her clipboard. My guess is that she is about to tell me father can't join me because of a work-thing and I have to eat breakfast alone.

"Good Morning Adrian. I am glad to see you up, but unfortunately your father can't join you for breakfast today; he went out of town for a meeting. Go ahead and eat breakfast you only have a little less than 10 minutes then you have a photo shoot" She then quickly took her leave out of the room.

And that is how I ended up here...

"Hey! Quit frowning!" the photographer said in what seems like a a phony Italian accent.

"We have to re-do this set!" he yells to the crew behind him and a few assistants take me back to makeup. 'Great, another 2 hours out of my day and no one seems to care that I am going to my first day of Francoise Dupont College tomorrow. Whatever, nothing new. NO! Snap out of it! This is going to be a new chapter in my life where no one is going to know me as 'Chat Noir: the most famous teenager model in France', no... this is going to be different' I snap back to reality determined to get this over with so I can get back to my fantasies of what college life is going to be like.

School does not start until tomorrow, but everyone is required to come a day early to get settled in their dorm (and) (or) fix any problems there might be in registration forms or questions about the following day. all of the staff double checked the dorm assignments just to be sure. Then something really weird was on a chart and they took it to the principal.
