Chapter Three

NIALLS POV :

The day after Louis proposed to Eleanor, me, Harry, Zayn, Louis, Liam, Eleanor, Rebecca, Alecia, and Paul drove down to Ocean City. Our beach houses are about a half an hour away. Rebecca, Alecia, and Eleanor took the same car and us guys took another car. When we got into the car, we started blasting the radio. Were about half way there, and we see theres a rest stop about a mile further. The boys had me text Rebecca and tell her we were stopping.

Me: Hey, babe xx were stopping at an Exxon. The guys wanted me to tell you that

Becca: Okay ;) were about 30 minutes away from Ocean City. See you there xx

I smile and tell the boys that she said theyre almost there. We pull into the parking lot and walk into the Exxon. I decide that i should get Rebecca something, so i get her a blue Monster (her favorite) and a bag of French Onion Sun Chips (also one of her favorites). Im not hungry, i wonder why, so i just get a bottle of Coke. When i walk to the counter to ring up the food and drinks, i notice the cashier has on a One Direction wristband and shes freaking out. I page Paul and he stands about a foot behind me staring her down, making sure she doesnt maul me. She asks for my autograph and i sign a piece of paper she hands me. The rest of the boys give her an autograph too. She starts talking to me about my relationship with Rebecca -- wait, how does she know?! Does everyone know? I glance over at Paul and he looks really confused. Louis walks over to the magazines and picks one up. He shows it to me. It has a picture of me and Rebecca at Nandos ordering our food. In the picture, i have my arm around her and shes telling the cashier what she wants. What. The. Hell. I decide to get the magazine and show it to Rebecca. I finish paying and go into the van before anyone else. How in the world did this happen?! I open to the page about me and Rebecca. There are two whole pages about us!! Oh my gosh...i wonder if Rebecca will be happy about being in a magazine. Will she be mad? The rest of the guys and Paul get into the car. Harry and Louis sit on either side of me reading all about my date at Nandos with Rebecca. I try to stop them but Louis snatches it from me and Harry walks over next to Louis and keeps reading it. Theyre oo-ing and one time they looked back at me, nodding with approval. Whats in that magazine article?! I text Rebecca about it.

Me: Guess what?

Rebecca: What?!

Me: Youre in a magazine!

Rebecca: WHAT?!?!?! IM IN A MAGAZINE?! OMG!!! IM FREAKING OUT!! You better give me that thing the second you see me, kay?!

Me: Okay. Haha. Idk whats in the article though. Its about our date at Nandos.

Rebecca: What?! Who did that?!?!?!

Me: Why did that change your idea about being in a magazine? Lol

Rebecca: WE DONT KNOW WHAT THEY WROTE ABOUT US!!! HAVE YOU READ IT?!

I think about this for a moment and start to freak out. Zayn tries to calm me down, but the only thing that will really calm me down is reading whats in that article. I take the magazine from Louis and read it. These are all lies!! But what did i expect from a magazine article? A few minutes later, i get a text from Rebecca.

Rebecca: Do i atleast look good in the picture?! Is my hair okay?!

Me: Lol. You look fine! As always ;)

Rebecca: This is Alecia. You guys best hurry!!!! There are these guys flirting with Rebecca. And shes not noticing. But he thinks she digs him.

Me: Why do you even have her phone?! And we cant really go over the speed limit right now. Were like 5 minutes away. Just go up to her and say "Hey, your boyfriend is almost here. Lets go" and drag her away.

Rebecca: Haha. Okay

5 minutes later, we arrive at the beach house. I see that Rebecca is sitting on the steps. She looks pissed. Once she sees me, she holds out her hand and i give her the magazine. Alecia comes up behind her and screams. "YOURE IN A MAGAZINE?! OMG!!" Rebecca glares at me, "these are all lies...and they didnt even put my name." She looks at Alecia then back at the magazine and smiles. "But i do look good in these pictures!!" She rips up the article but keeps the picture. She hits me with the magazine and walks inside. Liam walks in and i see in the window that hes talking to her. Ill just leave them be. Louis walks up to me and says "Soo, Rebecca seems pissed." I glare at him and he puts his hands up in surrender. I laugh and lift up the magazine like im about to hit him. He runs and hides behind Harry. Everyones cracking up and Rebecca comes outside and hugs me. I hug her back and we walk inside. Liam actually smiles at me. "Can i talk to you for a minute, Niall?" he asks me. "Sure. Be right back, Rebecca." she nods and sits on the couch. Me and Liam walk into the kitchen. "Im sorry, man." Liam says to me. I look at him for a while, scanning his face.

"Why did you do that? If i had known you liked Rebecca, i would have let you at least have a chance with her."

He looks away. "I dont know. I was just jealous of you guys. I cant choose who you go out with. Im really sorry."

"Its all good."\

We do our handshake and go over to sit next to Rebecca. We sit on either side of her and Liam turns on the TV. I put my arm around Rebecca and she puts her head on my shoulder. This is going to be an amazing break.

Sorry this is kinda short! But i have to eat dinner. Ill post a long chapter tomorrow when i get back from this thing im doing at school.
