Happiness I felt that day
when it happened.
No other memory will stay like
this one has.
While in a crowded room, this one
person decided to stand with me.
"Hello", i said.
Thank you" he replied.
I wondered to myself
What more to say?
then I heard a reply to my silent plea.
Your beautiful, he said.
Really? I replied
I had gotten compliments beforehand,
but none meant this much to me.
"Honestly" he said in return.
We walked around the dark crowded place
and talked and heard of eachothers disgrace.
" Do you love me" were all my own words.
" 'tis not the answer, but the questionconcerned".
I wondered and pondered what this could all mean
And again he answered to my silent plea.
If you must ask the question,
then i am afraid, that i do love you so...

But cannot come near.
For I love your soul, but another loves mine
and i have to wait, until another blessed night.
I wished and I hoped, that another eve would come
To have another night, with this loving young one.
But this night has ceased to arrive.
And so I will wait, until his warm light once more arrives.
