We live in a world that tries to be thin
Anything thick is immediately a social sin
But the problem with thin is that it easily breaks
It's not able to uphold the world that it makes
There's no room for drama in a world that's not thick
The thin people can't stand it, it makes them sick
They switch the real story for one that isn't right
They prefer their thin world, where everything is bright
People need generosity in order to live
But in a thin world, virtues are passed through a sieve
This sieve leaves out God, the truth, and what's hard
The only feelings we keep are those printed on a hallmark card
A thick world is hard, strong, and true
It's not going to break as it holds me and you
It can handle the drama, it can handle the pain
Because this world isn't about immediates, it's about eternal gain
No matter how much people try to be thin
They're too late, it's already a thick world we're living in!
